- The Oakland Raiders are no more!
The final game in Oakland ended up dramatic fashion, just like the team's tenure in it's longtime home city.
Since the AFL days the Raiders have called Oakland home since 1960 besides a 12-year stint in Los Angeles.
The Raiders will call Las Vegas home next season, leaving behind a loyal fanbase in Oakland that has had their team stripped from them twice.
The last home game was played with a bunch of alumni in attendance including Hall Of Famers like Charles Woodson, Tim Brown and Marcus Allen.
The fans were upset, not just at the relocation, but also the way they lost this game and they began to act up. Fans began destroying stadium facilities and throwing trash on the field.
Quarterback Derek Carr was booed as he went to sign autographs and say goodbye to the fans in the Black Hole.
It got wild, and I'm glad we were there!

Great video young man! You caught the spirit of the fans and the hole Coliseum experience. Very well done! I was 8 years old when the Coliseum opened in 1966, been a fan ever since. Over the years i got to see Daryl "The Mad Bomber" Lomanica, Kenny "Snake" Stabler and Jim "One Bad Ass Mexican" Plunkett play from the ORIGINAL Oakland Raiders before they moved to L.A. in 1982. I cried when they left Oakland (I was 22) and 13 years later i cried tears of joy when they returned home. And now this old timer has tears once again, but also GREAT MEMORIES! RN4L!!!

Vegas is a better location, more profitable, the Raiders are finally getting a new stadium which is long overdue and Vegas is going to be a huge attraction to players in free agency.
The only sad part is that the Raider Nation is one of the most loyal fanbases in all of sports.. but thankfully that fanbase will continue staying loyal and will paint Vegas black.

Next Video Is Going To Be Last A’s Game In Oakland then No More Sports Teams In Oakland Anymore That means Oakland Lost there 4th professional sport team
As a little kid I was at the last Raider game(vs Bears)in Oakland before they moved to LA, and I was at the last Raider game in Oakland (vs Jags)before they moved to LV. Some of the best times in my life were at the Coliseum watching my Raiders. But even this doesn't escape the impermanence of Life. I think as fans we trap ourselves into believing no matter how hard life gets, we'll always have our teams to go to on Sunday. It's a hard pill to swallow for fans that don't have that luxury. Myself, and many fellow Raider fans had to swallow that pill twice. Still, I have no regrets. Those memories in the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum are mine, and aren't subject to relocation.
I went to a Raiders game in LV last season. I had fun, stadium is beautiful, but it's not the same, never will be.

Watching this 3 years after the move, the unique culture of the team is dead. Tailgating is mostly over. The Vegas stadium is routinely filled with 60% tourist and opposing team fans. Mark got his money, and killed that rabid passionate culture that surrounded the team. Good job, Mark. You fill those seats in Vegas, just a good chunk of them aren't Raider fans anymore.
I’m so thankful I got to go to experience my first Raider game in Oakland on Dec 9, 2018 being a fan for only 3 years I’ve seen a lot, heard a lot, witnessed a lot and now I know what it’s like being part of Raider Nation! It’s all about dedication and loyalty, there ain’t no other team like the raiders the fans are the realest most notorious fan base in the NFL and I’m proud to be a part of it! Yeah I missed going to that game but when I do the tail gate parties are really fun everyone offering a plate of food to eat and all around good time with visiting fan's from the other team's not like what the media puts out. Going to miss those time's make some new memories at the Vegas stadium

I feel sorry for the fans losing their team. Looking at the Coliseum in different areas it looked like it was falling apart. I didn't think Mark Davis didn't want to stay in Oakland despite he was willing to spend a portion of his money on a new stadium instead of Ronnie Lott's proposal.
I think Mark Davis and probably Al before he passed were dead set on leaving anyways. Al Davis never wanted to come back to Oakland in my opinion. It's a dump but I love the place

How in world did that city lose Raiders is way beyond most people understanding. If they been smart they would have built Raiders new stadium kept them there all cost. Had Oakland Coliseum updated have somebody know what they are doing keep the maintenance up on it. Wow had two gold gems in Raiders and A's. Unbelievable how hell they screwed that up

I'm a true raider fan from Oakland California I was born 1975 at the Oakland hospital 27th avenue on foothill or East 14th I should say I get props to this 49er fan that did a good video of the raiders when he said he was sad for the 49ers they went to Santa Clara and now it's only 30 miles away we're talking about an hour on the airplane 12 hours driving now that hurts more God bless this fan for saying a good video love it keep going brother

I hate the raiders even though I grew up in Oakland. They ruined the coliseum after coming back from LA and lost the City's trust by making residents pay for stupid ass Mt. Davis and now the A's are struggling to get a new stadium because of that lost trust. The Raider suck and they always sucked in Oakland after the 1980's. They didn't do anything for the city but ruin the stadium and make Oaklanders suffer with losing seasons. I'm glad they left

First Super Bowl I watched was Super Bowl VI. Then I watched Ghost to the post the following Christmas Eve. I loved Bert Jones as a kid. Crazy that both owners screwed their fanbase. Raiders will never be that type of team again. That has died with Madden, Al Davis and this new bread of NFL.

I didn't. I felt bad for St Louis who had grown to love the team which had it's best years in STL. But admittedly, a small part of me thinks it's cool the LA Rams are back just for the nostalgia of my childhood. If they wanted an LA team so bad I think they should have just moved the Jaguars and left everyone else alone. Jags have very little history and Florida has too many teams 😂

I'm also a Niner fan, I went to an Oakland Coliseum game last year (2018), because my cousin is a Raider fan but he lives in Houston Texas. He was visiting for the holidays and he bought my ticket, so I drove us up to Oakland for the game against the Chiefs. I wore all black, with a Black/Gold Warriors hat, even the die-hard Raider fan sitting behind us knew I wasn't a Raider fan because of it hahah.. I was like "I'ma tell u something dude, I'm a Niner fan." He just said "I know. You're not wearing any Raider gear, look at the rest of us."
Back in 2017 I had bought my cousin his ticket and took him to a Monday Night Football game (Niners vs Rams) at Levi's Stadium, so he was kinda returning the favor. He was just happy to have attended the Oakland stadium before they moved to Vegas. Sadly, I never attended Candlestick and it will always be one of my biggest regrets.
You explained exactly why these things matter to us... It's not just going to a game, it's building memories and moments that we'll never forget. The whole time I'm in a stadium I'm thinking about all the sports history there and also personal history. Wish you could have gotten to see Candlestick yourself, it was the best. You can always live vicariously thru us since one of our very first videos on this channel was about The Stick 🕯️ 😁

I was there occasionally back in the day, even for the preseason game when the Pats wouldn't stop throwing over the middle and Stingley paid the monstrous price. I had season tickets for years after they moved back. Thanks for the memories House of Thrills. Nothing lasts forever.

Everyone talks about how dirty and what a dump the coliseum is but that's what makes it sooo great. When you walk in to that place as an opposing fan or player and you see the dirty walls, and shit broken everywhere, the rank ass smell, THEN you see the crazy ass Raider fans!!! Damn, this brought back a lot of memories. I'm a lifelong Saints fan that grew up in New Orleans but I spent 3 years (1981-1984) in the Bay Area during my Air Force days. Went to many football and baseball games at The Stick and what was then Oakland - Alameda County Coliseum. Had HUGE fun going to A's games in 1982 when Rickey Henderson was stealing people blind on the base paths. I saw firsthand how Raiders fans felt the first time that the Raiders left. As you said, I don't wish that feeling on any fan base. I should be excited that the Raiders are coming to my adopted city but it's hard to be, knowing what this has done to what will always be the REAL home of Raider Nation. Respect from an old geezer NFL fan. Thanks for the great video, you have a new sub.
