This video is also handy if you're wondering how to sow melon seeds or how to grow watermelons, because it's the the first part of my series of videos where I'll be growing watermelon plants from seed all the way to harvest! This is a great place to start if you want to get into hydroponic farming at home or if you're looking for gardening ideas for home or indoor plants. You can also use this system for tomato plant growing if you'd like to grow hydroponic tomato plants instead in your home hydroponic grow system.

It’s a handy one to watch after the lettuce one it’s all the same set up! It’s doing really well, it’s massive compared to the soil grown ones anyway!

@@GrowIt I am struggling with the lettuce, your video has shown me how to do it better, pump & airstone on order, it was a fun thing to try & brought as a tongue in cheek gift but I really want it to succeed, I love lettuce. So I have purchased some heritage seed for winter lettuce & wondering how well that would do but may stick to the more summer type.The gift was a bottle farm, grow your own kit, hydroponically, started great.
