Today's video is a tour of SNU's brand new Global Residence Halls! If you're interested in staying here in the future, I hope this video helps you decide. I moved in here on the 1st of September, literally two weeks ago and I am the first person to ever live in my room, so this video is first-hand experience of the Global Residence.

1. how much for one semester?
- i paid around 800,000 won for three months and the prices have gone up recently. double rooms are more expensive
2. how to get into snu?
i went to korea as a part of my year abroad programme at my home uni, so unfortunately i have no idea. everything's explained on the snu page i would suggest you read that

Nah I'm sure they scan fingerprint, not veins because that doesn't make sense. Biometric authentication is there is most of the countries.

highly recommend not showing passwords or even any parts related to it since the numbers have a specific sound to it and people can easily know the password by the sounds. safety first.

I watched another girl who uploaded her Koran apt tour after she moved back to America because she said she didn’t wanna her murdered lmao
i never really thought of it as "dangerous" because i felt really safe in korea :) the password was different for every door and there's basically no way someone from the outside could get into the building as it was monitored 24/7.

michelle snu is located pretty much in a mountain (gwanak mountain) so there’s plenty of green spaces on the campus! it’s super nice, can’t wait for spring to come when cherry blossom start to bloom :)

The setting is beautiful, the campus facilities are amazing and the vein scanning security system... it's like a dystopian city

the room is incredibly small but it doesn’t seem uncomfortable at all 🥰 the amount of storage its super useful
I'm going to SNU next semester (spring 2020) and currently, I'm searching for dorms info in SNU, and I just found out about this new dorm from your video, would you like to give some info about this dorm's fees? And can a graduate freshman apply for this dorm? Thank you

@@shruti5477 Hello, currently i am taking the MS program,so i don't really know about MBA program, but you can check the program whether it is taught in English from the SNU website. But all i know, most of graduate program lectures taught in SNU are in English, but still you have to check the website first

The heat control on the wall is called a thermostat in the US. It might be called something else in other parts of the world. Beautiful dorm!

I suggest getting slimmer hangers! I also have a narrow hanging wardrobe and slimmer hangers made a ton of difference when I switched to them! Increased almost twice the amount of storage for me.

Its really cool because when I went to SNU in 2017 I think, they were still doing construction on your building. I remember one day there was a fire in your building construction and everyone was shook. Really nice to see it done!

You have seperate rooms that was so good even tho it's quite small I still like the idea mostly here 2 Or 3 girls share 1 room actually there's no privacy so sometimes it's hard to maintain things tho very good to know each other well I also really wanna study abroad 😊

wow crazy now they finally have global residence dorms at snu... when i went we had to compete with locals for dorms and i ended up having to find housing off campus! have an amazing semester!! snu and their buddy system was amazing 💜
