As many of you Xandria fans have named this song as one of your favorites from the new album, we decided to make a video for it - with beautiful pictures underlining the meaning of the lyrics:
Music, art, as something that can derive from painful experiences, and then not only heal you, but also others. It is a wonderful gift for us all then.
Another musical colour from the rich palette of our album "The Wonders Still Awaiting", on which each song has its very own identity and its own atmosphere. This one is symphonic for sure, but also has some straight rock vibes, and a certain 80ies flavour to it. It is melancholic but also has a hopeful twist, in both the music and the lyrics.
We noticed that it is a wonderful song to play live - and we are looking forward to play that song for you on the upcoming tour!

I swear there is so much good music out now! Xandria, Feuerschwanz, Heidevolk, Ad ifinitum and so much more. Great time to be a hardrock fan! 🤘🏻🍻
find at least three differences in the vocals of Melissa and this one from Xandria 😁 you will hear this song on the radio for example, not knowing that it is Xandria, will you understand who sings?))

Then you should follow the other big metal channels as well. Such as Nuclear blast, roadrunner, metal blade, century media, etc. Most of the bigger bands are somewhere there.

While the Napalm bands are often very good (subject to personal preferences), don't be a label snob. ;)
i suggest also sumerian records, riserecords and insideoutmusicTV ( the last one being much less known but some very good stuff there also in my opinion)

Love this song, It kinda feels like we getting chased, every time "Im on my way" starts music feels like we just opened a door and running until hitting the next door, the next "Im on my way", and the last one Feels like the last door last opened and we cant be stopped anymore. its not often i actually feel the song, even if in a different way from the intent.

To all the people who are drawing hasty conclusions based on the singles alone... Just listen to the whole record. There are tons of progressive and melodeath influences that will certainly change your mind.
To me this is the strongest version of Xandria, the most diverse they have ever been, the most memorable and eclectic. I still love the previous albums, but Ambre's being such a remarkably versatile singer actually allowed Marco to be more daring and experimental in the composition department, and it shows. This album is anything but generic, it's a mature offering by a unique band

Great song from a great album. Xandria steered away from the operatic vocals deliberately. Is that a bad thing? No, not at all, it's a choice! In addition the new singer Ambre adds grunts/ growls.
People tend to compare every singer and band these days. There are no rules that a symphonic metal band must have a classical trained singer. I enjoy old Xandria and new Xandria. It that possible? Yes without a doubt to me it is.
@@juliewatt1951 In my opinion it's not necessary. There are more symphonic metal bands that don't have a classical trained singer. Like I said I like both and besides this new singer has a nice voice too in my opinion. This new album was the highest chart entry for Xandria ever, so there are lot who enjoy. But personal taste is not arguable when you don't like it you don't , it's that simple.😉
