Texas is going to need to throw the ball more next week because Georgia is going to be expecting Texas to run and the defense for UGA right now is hot! Maliki Starks, Smael Mondon & Tate Rateledge are dialed in. I could see Texas trying to sandbag UGA during this game. Ewers will be pulled before the 2nd half and Manning will be put in. If Manning had gotten to stay in the game against Georgia last time, Texas could have won that game.
@williebates3398 What I'm saying is that Texas is going to need to pass more this game because UGA is going to be expecting Texas to run the ball. I'm not in any way suggesting that Texas won't be successful in their run game. I'm just saying that they're definitely going to need to dial up a solid deep ball scheme and execute.
I would think we dont give up 7 sacks. But their Wr also had drops. We will need to tighten up. Right side of the O line needs to be strong. Quinn has to hit the open throws and Texas should/could and I believe will enact revenge.
Georgia will be facing a more consistent and confident Texas OL. They will rely more this time on their LBs and DBs for blitzing. TE and RB pass protection is key for this game. Georgia LBs and DBs ARE NOT A&M LBs and DBs. Gibson has the build and strength to be a great blocker. I hope he is being trained to DO that.
When I rewatched the Georgia hame, I saw Texas OL being driven back into the pocket limiting or even disrupting Quinn's movements. Collapsing pocket means so room to move..
Improved Texas defense will be the primary difference this time around, offense has to limit their turnovers on scoring drives and make every opportunity count. Mash mouth and swarming defense thru the end of the game. Just focus and WIN! Let’s get a bye. Hook’Em Horns 🤘🏻🤘🏿🤘🏾🤘🤘🏽🤘🏼🏈🇺🇸💯
Good discussion. Texas will be going for its first SEC championship (I know it has a ton in the old SW conference), and Georgia will be going for its 15th SEC championship. That doesn't sound like much, but there's been a lot of parity in the SEC for decades and the championships are spread out. Georgia is currently second with 14 titles, behind Bama with 30. Tennessee is third with 13, LSU has 12, Florida and Auburn have 8, Ole Miss has 6. Go Dawgs.
Don't turn the ball more than once, turnover Ga, 2 or more and I believe Texas wins. But also, Auburn has got to overcome his struggles and inconsistency. He's missed FG he usually makes, and some he has missed badly. Hook 'em!!!
We have to play like Bevo drive UGA out his space , and we have to execute the same plan drive them out of the comfort zone no one can play discombobulated it’s like “blood in the water “
@@whitemagiktiger , I noticed, you *CONVENIENTLY FORGOT* to list Georgia there. Did you fail to see how his game plan was completely exposed? Come back next week and let's compare notes.
Small London and Jordan Hall weren't available in Austin. UGA’s pass rush is going to be healthier headed into this game. Texas o-line is going to have to bring a much different energy if they want to be competitive in this game.
Great win longhorns I played for my DAWGS See you guys in our house this time just a heads up 2 starters on defense didn't play last time and 3 starters didn't play last time on offense Good luck and welcome to the sec Hope if my DAWGS can't win national then you guys
Why would Texas be playing at Penn st or ND if they don't win the SEC CG? Texas should be the top non conference champion, especially if it's a close game, and get that coveted 5 seed. They have a better resume than anyone, and the committee needs to commit to not punishing loses in conference title games if they don't want teams trying to game the system
I'm not bashing or trolling, but Texas definitely does NOT have the best resume. Georgia ended up with the #1 most difficult regular season schedule of anyone in the country. Texas actually ended up with one of the weakest resumes of any of the top 7 contending playoff teams. If Texas Texas loses to UGA, I would be surprised to see them get anything above the 7 seed.
Kirby got Sark's number. Georgia will be the most formidable opponent all year. Texas is a 1.5-point favorite, which sounds about right. Hook'Em \m/~v~
Texas has a great defense (improved all year Long), a very good offensive line (improved throughout the year), now we have a very good running back (huge improvement throughout the year), very good receivers, great coaching. Quinn is surrounded by excellence and has the potential to bring it all down. He probably is worse than last year? No improvement.
Regardless of the outcome of the SEC conference game, Texas should feel good and be grateful that they are now in the best conference in the country. I'm happy that Texas is in the SEC because I have a lot of respect for Texas football and Texas now being in the SEC will only push Texas harder and help develop the team into something really special and difficult to beat. I just hope the fans learn how to handle success and defeat (without throwing temper tantrums) in such a deep and strong conference. I'm a Dawg all day, but I have a lot of respect for the football bleeding state of Texas. Texas belongs in the SEC. GO DAWGS!
Both Teams enter this game 23-3 over the last 2 seasons. 🤘🏻
Run the ball, then run it again!

They don't need to change a thing go out there an play the same way they have the past 2 weeks. Without the turnovers
Kirby wants this SECCG. Last year was very disappointing in this game.😊
All depends which Quinn Ewers shows up..O-line has been playing great, defense great. Simple as that.
So there is a possibility Texas and Georgia both go to the national championship game and they play 3 times!
It's not revenge, its business.

Those horizontal sweeps and screens won’t play. Just line up behind the big humans and run downhill🤘🏾
Georgia won’t get the easy field position this time. Georgia is going down.

Thanks for the SEC championships record.
half the sacks were bad play calling

Texas needs to pound the run!! All day long!!
TX couldn’t play any worse only producing in one quarter vs UGA. It’s gonna take numerous turnovers to give this exhausted UGA a gift SEC Chip.
Sark has been suspect in preparing for big games. His game plan for the game wasn't the best. Hopefully, this time he and the team deliver.
He was prepared last night. He was prepared against Michigan. He was prepared against Alabama.

I bet Kirby Smart is glad that he isn’t facing nick saban Alabama for the SEC title… so this will truly be a home game for the DAWGS !
Texas 4-1 Georgia
All time.
If our QB doesn’t blow it we will win the game!
Yeah, Beck can be very erratic.
Texas is going to get whipped again. The matchups favor the dawgs top to bottom. Get ready for the ride that is playing UGA in Mercedes Benz.
