Agree. They've got Texas ahead of Georgia because Georgia has 2 losses and Texas one loss. So why not use the same criteria for Ohio State and Indiana? Because, of course, Ohio State is one of the chosen, like Alabama in the south. And that's why Bama is ahead of SC, not the head-to-head. Because, again, if the jerseys were exchanged, they'd argue that Bama has won 6 in a row against several ranked teams, that they look better than anyone right now, etc. The argument is spun in favor of the chosen.
@@AceWillliams Alabama has 2 of the worst losses in the sec. They lost to Oklahoma and Vandy, both of which South Carolina beat by a lot. South Carolina could have won the game against Alabama. We’re forgetting georgias losses? No, we’re remembering that Georgia absolutely destroyed 2 teams that are currently in the top 7. Comparing Georgia’s losses to miami losses is insane. Who has Miami beat again?
Thank you! We beat a 9 win top 12 team and they jump us beating a 4 win basketball school. They planned to keep us out probably so AP is softening the blow. Its OK though, we probably arent quite good enough to win and this will be fuel for the team!
Georgia losing to top 10 Alabama and Ole Miss is a little different than Miami losing to unranked Georgia Tech (who Georgia just beat btw) and Syracuse Emory. Besides, which ranked teams has Miami beat this season? Uh that would be zero. And do we really want to compare strength of schedules?
Comparing UGA to Miami is absolutely ridiculous. Georgia has played five teams in the top 18 of this poll--four away from home--and has three wins. Miami only played one team in the entire Top 25, Syracuse at #23, and lost. C'mon.
I can't believe the Coaches poll has SMU ranked above Ohio State. SMU has defeated no currently ranked opponents and lost to BYU at SMU. Ohio State beat PSU in Happy Valley. Quality wins matter.
Miami was in the driver seat and controlled their own destination and self destructed 😮. Mario Cristobal damn bro you chocked. Thought Miami would at minimum compete for an ACC Championship.😂
If Georgia falls to Texas (after beating them earlier in the same season) they should still get a 1st round game in the playoffs if Bama is sitting at 12 after 3 loses
OSU should have fallen further than 7. More likely should be 10-12th. They lost at home to an unranked Michigan team who played without their best 2 players. OSU should make the playoffs but are ranked higher than they should.
Why did Emory hunt call out Georgia like they didn't have the toughest schedule? They beat Texas, Clemson, and Tennessee, and their only 2 loses are against Ole Miss and Alabama. This guy doesn't have a clue.
Congratulations 🎉to Penn State. Michigan is their spirit team as they beat Ohio State aside from the melee after the game. The Nittany Lions 🦁 jump into the #3 slot in the rankings of the CFP.
SC barely beat mizzu Alabama shut them out and beat SC. Stop juicing up their losses. They lost period. Alabama deserves to be ahead. Look at everyone they beat. SC included
2 losses to 2 unranked teams. Each of those teams SC beat by 3+ touchdowns. Bama beat SC by 2 points. 6+ win streak with 3 ranked wins in November alone. Head to head isn't everything. SC is a better team than Alabama. Sorry.
Home field advantage is worth 2.5 points, so on a neutral field, SC vs Bama would be a wash. Take that game away and look at the wins vs losses. Bama has a better win in GA but also has two worse losses in Oklahoma and Vanderbuilt. A valid argument could be made for either team. If you want to make that argument for Bama, though, you have to make it for Ole Miss, too, who beat SC way worse than Bama did, and also beat GA.
As an Oregon fan I agree their schedule dies not seem that difficult but in reality none of you have any idea how teams compare who haven't played each other nor have much in the way of common opponents. But looking back Orgeon had to beg to finally get accepted into the B1G and I believe they (and Washington) had to take a partial TV Revenue deal compared to the other B1G teams which split equally. So they're doing okay. Having a pretty good season I think.
If SMU loses and the committee kicks them out, the ACC will immediately end conference championship games, which would backfire on bubble SEC teams in years to come.
ASU was 16th last week, now 12th for some unknown reason after blowing out a terrible team. How terrible? That team has 8 losses and only 4 wins. The 4 wins were against teams with losing records and one mid FCS team. (Mind you, ASU has a loss to a team that has 8 losses, and one loss to a team with 4 losses, and barely beat an FCS team, and many close wins over teams with losing records.). Then you have South Carolina, [SEC] that was 15th last week, one spot ahead of ASU. They defeat the 12th ranked team this week and get jumped by ASU. OK…but the #6 team loses to a top 25 Syracuse team, and they fall all the way down to right below ASU, and SC, cause they don’t want to make it look as obvious. * *Note that the SEC already has a bye spot, they can’t have 2. This is why they’re letting ASU jump SC, even though it’s 100% wrong. Same reason Miami moved down below them, of course. ***This is not for sure that BSU misses out on the bye, but i think they’re doing everything possible to make it a pathway to happen. BSU would have to have a close win, (which they likely would, if they do win. UNLV is underrated with only losing to Syracuse because of the refs, and BSU...and the teams know each other well, it will likely be close.). and if ASU happens to win by a couple scores.... PS….this will be first time ASU and Iowa St play, in their conf championship game. Iowa is ranked 16th… but has losses to an 8 loss team and 4 loss team, and no ranked wins. And that’s not all…of their 12 games played only 3 had winning D1 records and 2 were FCS teams…..and one of the FCS teams they beat 21-3, has a 5-7 record. (All against FCS teams besides Iowa State game.).
Miami is not just hurt by the losses, it's hurt by the fake wins (Virginia Tech and Cal). If the refs get the final play right for Virginia Tech and the targeting against the Cal QB, Miami is an 8-4 with no ranked team wins.
Why did yall do a highlight play for south carolina when clemons qb fell and fumbled and then the rb did the same thing? SC didnt cause that clemson self inflicted like they've done so much of lately. But sc interception at the end was a great interception to win them the game.

Notre Dame have the easiest way in the group of 12, just put together a weak schedule with Purdue, Navy, Army, at this point they might as well schedule Air Force too. Along with a loss to Northern Illinois
I just don't know about this Cristobal guy even with a weak schedule, a heisman contending qb driving the number 1 offense in America he wouldn't let him try to get 10 yards for a season and potentially heisman saving chance all of this and still can't win the ACC after being in 20 years; meanwhile SMU just joined less than a year ago and is about to win the ACC. over the last 2 years Cristobal's idiotic decisions have directly cost Miami 3 losses 2 to GA Tech and the one to some fruit yesterday. speaking of OSUS illion dollar roster let us talk about it hell! my CANES are right there wit em after all we did beat em out for Cam Ward only to not let him lad us to 10 yards Cristobal is just an excellent recruier I suppose he's somewhere waiting on the portal to open to buy another quarterback.
Switch bama and SC. Put indy and boise ahead of ohio st.
You can’t jus switch bama and sc it don’t matter if sc has looked better bama owns the head to head
@@hybrid8557But South Carolina boat raced the teams bama lost to!! But nobody wants to talk about that….
7 is generous.
The difference between GA and Miami is they actually beat ranked teams unlike Miami.
Dang yall hate BAMA. Get over it there the standard for college football. Not your team.
South Carolina should be #11
Ole Miss should be ahead of them, though. Ole Miss beat them, 27-3.
Alabama gonna be ahead of them they beat them. You are lucky ole miss still isn’t ahead
As a Mizzou fan I feel like CFP keeping us ranked to make other teams schedule look harder 😂
@@AceWillliams Alabama has 2 of the worst losses in the sec. They lost to Oklahoma and Vandy, both of which South Carolina beat by a lot. South Carolina could have won the game against Alabama. Questionable refs and bad luck caused them to lose a close game. South Carolina has played much better the last 6 weeks than bama.
Ole Miss lost to Kentucky, though. Sit down 🤫
South Carolina should be ahead of bama after win over Clemson!! The disrespect is real 😡
I don't know why people keep bringing up how much teams rise or fall. If you have problem with where a team is ranked say who should be ranked above or below them not just "can't believe they only dropped so and so amount of spots"
We’re forgetting georgias losses? No, we’re remembering that Georgia absolutely destroyed 2 teams that are currently in the top 7. Comparing Georgia’s losses to miami losses is insane. Who has Miami beat again?
Bama literally paid for their spot!!!! I saw it with my own eyes!!!!!
😂😂😂😂
Yea yea haven't we all.lmao
As a bama fan, they glaze us so much😂
Alabama ain't worthy of that spot. They lost to Vanderbilt.
@ you can’t lie though, vandy ain’t that bad of a team this year at home
Alabama should not be #11. Three losses?!!!! Doesn't make sense.
“The only blemish is that 2-point loss to Alabama’
Let’s just ignore that 24 point HOME loss to Ole Miss….
Why is Arizona St above SC?
This is not accurate.
Ima Mizzou fan ...they kept us ranked to help other teams case tbh 😂
I agree with everything but SC should be above ASU.
Same, but I also think Notre Dame should be ranked ahead of Penn St.
@@snerdtergusonI would also agree, but it doesn’t really change much. But yeah
10-2 is better than 9-3 with a 21 point loss to a losing Oklahoma team. Fools
@@shopson6991nah. Miami didn’t even play one ranked team this year. SC and Alabama played way better teams and won big games
Just no Alabama they do not deserve to make the playoff. They force that team on us all the time - enough
As one espn analyst said, ratings…brand name just like ND and Ohio State, do they deserve to get in? Nope but we don’t make the rules
Love it. Hate on and see Bama in the playoffs
@@JohnnieSmith-c7ddefinitely defied my expectations, perhaps our name brand is that strong with or without Saban🤔
@@Birdman669They do what are you talking about? Tennessee Vanderbilt Oklahoma LOST games.
When Daddys at the door..You let him in...
Poor Army, 10-1 and behind 3 loss teams with multiple unraked losses 😂
Play a strong schedule and you will be rewarded.
Miami. Biggest Choke Jobs I have seen. Not the old U At All.
Can’t have a playoff bracket without Alabama 😂😂 ps I literally hate Alabama
1 and 3 for the BIG #GODUCKS
U barely pulled out a miracle vs osu whose not very good! If Oregon played in the SEC they'd have 4 losses
@@wizza2315 a win is a win. how long can the sec claim "our records suck because we are too good"?
Comparing UGA to Miami is absolutely ridiculous. Georgia has played five teams in the top 18 of this poll--four away from home--and has three wins. Miami only played one team in the entire Top 25, Syracuse at #23, and lost. C'mon.
I can't believe the Coaches poll has SMU ranked above Ohio State. SMU has defeated no currently ranked opponents and lost to BYU at SMU. Ohio State beat PSU in Happy Valley. Quality wins matter.
#8 SMU can’t miss the playoffs. The committee said they will NOT take away for a conference championship game loss.
Miami was in the driver seat and controlled their own destination and self destructed 😮. Mario Cristobal damn bro you chocked. Thought Miami would at minimum compete for an ACC Championship.😂
That's what happens when referees pad a teams record.
Ohio state’s loss just shows how weak Oregon’s schedule is. Go Dawgs😊
If Georgia falls to Texas (after beating them earlier in the same season) they should still get a 1st round game in the playoffs if Bama is sitting at 12 after 3 loses
According to the committee conference championship losses will not impact the playoff ranking.
@ I don’t believe them. They can’t be trusted!
The Alabama game cost SC the CFP bid. #Gamecockfootball #SEC
#PaulFeinbaum #MattBarrie
OSU doesn't belong in the top ten after losing to such a bad Michigan team
OSU should have fallen further than 7. More likely should be 10-12th. They lost at home to an unranked Michigan team who played without their best 2 players. OSU should make the playoffs but are ranked higher than they should.
Why did Emory hunt call out Georgia like they didn't have the toughest schedule? They beat Texas, Clemson, and Tennessee, and their only 2 loses are against Ole Miss and Alabama. This guy doesn't have a clue.
Sometimes those logos just mean more.
It’s a good weekend when Osu and Miami loses
Notre Dame has the 78th schedule difficulty andost to Northern Illinois. They do not belong at #4.
South Carolina has 3 losses. Just because they lost 2 games they should have won doesnt mean they have one loss. This is flawed logic to the extreme.
No love for the Gamecocks
Yeah it's atrocious. And I'm not a Gamecocks fan.
SC should be where Bama is. That’s ridiculous lol. Tuesday we will know for a fact who is in what place.
SC > Bama
South Carolina aren't missing playoff by 3 point loss in Tuscaloosa rather losing in Colombia to LSU and Ole Miss giving up 60+ points. SMH
No 3-loss team should be in the playoff, especially one that lost to unranked bottom feeders Vandy and OU
If SMU loses and the committee kicks them out, the ACC will immediately end conference championship games, which would backfire on bubble SEC teams in years to come.
Oregon has won 12 straight...?
Georgia dropped nine spots, losing into a rank team on the roads Ohio State drop five spots losing into a unring team at home explain it
Thank you for leaving Alabama out of
Let's just have a 134 playoff at the end of the season. It should only take 5 rounds.
Everyone still going to say Texas hasn’t beat a ranked team 😂
No 3 loss teams.
Ohio State the most overrated team. Look at their schedule!
My team had fall short to Michigan again I see where we messed up up at not having our starting center also turn overs💯
Osu and penn st are crazy over rated 😂😂
If Georgia losses to Texas they should still get a 1st round game in the playoffs if Bama is sitting at 12 after 3 losses!
Who tf does these rankings. UGA lost to number 16 and dropped like 10 spots from 2 to like 13. But all these other teams drop maybe 5 spots? Stupid.
how can 10-2 teams be ahead of 11-1 teams..Indiana only loss was to the Suckeyes
MIAMI IS OUT OF THE CFP. ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD.
Alabama beats unranked auburn and moved up 2 spots?
Of course, it "puts" them in the playoffs
This isn't the CFB Playoff rankings so we don't know if that's true yet.
they always face Alabama in one way or another
They usually follow the Ap rankings tho@@_Jake.From.Statefarm_
He'll yea
(All against FCS teams besides Iowa State game.).
they got some of the school colours wrong. (Illinois and Syracuse should be flipped)
One of the big 12 title teams isnt even ranked
Miami is not just hurt by the losses, it's hurt by the fake wins (Virginia Tech and Cal). If the refs get the final play right for Virginia Tech and the targeting against the Cal QB, Miami is an 8-4 with no ranked team wins.
The team to watch ASU Arizona State Sun Devils that's the team to watch
Open the door and let Daddy in...Roll Tide Roll...
Georgia should have dropped 2 spots just for sucking at home to GT. They should have lost……
Why did yall do a highlight play for south carolina when clemons qb fell and fumbled and then the rb did the same thing? SC didnt cause that clemson self inflicted like they've done so much of lately. But sc interception at the end was a great interception to win them the game.
Where are the ags?
They beat McNeece, n mex st and Bowling Green
