- Parts of Asia have been hit by severe heat in recent weeks. An international coalition of scientists said it was a "once-in-200-years" event that would have been “virtually impossible” without human-caused climate change. Record-shattering temperatures of up to 45°C have been seen in multiple countries including Bangladesh, Vietnam, Singapore and China. In this special edition, we take a look at how governments, and people, are trying to adapt.

Anyone noticed that the title says Southeast Asia but they were talking about Bangladesh, China, India etc but Southeast Asia??? France24 needs a geography lesson! Southeast Asia traditionally includes Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Phillipines, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia!
You forgot Brunei
@@ronnelacido1711 i did! Apologies
yep
I'm from indonesia, they're talking about weather and climate not political geography..
and also if you're very concern about that don't forget about East Timor also part of southeast asia and join ASEAN recently
Those kids jumping into that coffee-black polluted river. Can't imagine all the bacteria that will cling into their skin.
That's south asia not south east asia....
Our current temperature is max 35 °C here in Malaysia....hotter than usual but not exactly searing heatwave. By the way, India, Bangladesh & China are not South East Asian countries..lol
Bangladesh has a mixture of weather from both South asia and southeast Asia. I can confirm that.
I'm thankful for electricity year round in the US, and for a cool place to sleep
Temperature in Malaysia could reach 33°C. So hot and humid⛅🌦️😰
When Bangladesh went to south east asia? It was next to india in south asia when I see the map last time . 😂
but main problem in Bangladesh is no Democracy and law 😡
South Asia consists of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal and Afghanistan NOT South East Asia or ASEAN please be consistent.
Climate boiling. It's like climate chaos!?
Need cold cold ,n more ice
Climate change always don’t panic
how is yo A/C?? working fine??
When it becomes so hot that crops everywhere cook in the fields, even if irrigated, it will be the demographic turning point. IF there is no nuclear war.
All prescripted decades before and even in spite of advanced technical possibilities - those strong involved & important didn' t react !
So ?
There is just not enough resources for everyone. Just reduce the population so that the existing ones can get sufficient water, electricity and food. It's not that difficult. Before some condemn me, I meant for ALL countries, not just 3rd world or developing ones.
How about YOU take yourself off my mothers earth!?! The earth is plentiful! Its not down to some damn pale faced eugencist to tell people to reduce 'populations' you people are so anti-nature, which is why nature is taking you MF's OUT!
There is more than enough resources for everyone. Stop it.
The Earth has enough resources to feed, clothe and shelter 30 billion people. But never enough for just 1 greedy person. Greed, not overpopulation, is the cause.
The Earth can support billions, but not billionaires.
This is JUDGEMENT! Go read your bibles! The heat is not turning down! Revelations Chapter 16 verse 8 ya'll aint seen nothing YET!
Climate change is not man made. It's natural. Learn how to adapt.
If you care about the environment so much, then tell the government to enforce mining companies to refill disused quarries with soil or sand rather than abandoning them to become toxic lakes.
