I saw and watched you on Ryan's channel when you first got off the bus to meet, first time viewer, new subscriber and a rider. Good stuff, cool to see another side of riding together story telling, thanks for the ride along. 🇺🇸✌👍🌴💪🤺
Yes, my father born 1931 whom grew up in Chicago whose parents migrated to the countryside of lower western Michigan to flee the crime of Chicago was 2nd generation American, tells one how long Chicago has been riddled with the same old crime issues, his grandfather was from Sweden, so was his grandmother with the last name of Olsen, so I guess that would mean mid 1800's both families migrated to the USA. Be good, take care.
Great video. I like the format of your videos, a bit different and laid back than Ryan's - no disrespect - been a fan of Ryan for years 👌❤️. You two are a good bike-match. I would love to know a bit more about your bike and your setup. Skål fra Danmark 🇩🇰🇸🇪
I have made a video about all the gear I brought on the trip, and that video is due in two weeks time. I'll probably do a review video about my Kona Unit X real soon as well.
Hello Brother Mike , Just Popped Over From Ryan's Channel. Been following Along And Enjoying Your Company. It Struck A Chord With You Leaving And Hit Me Out Of Left Field. You Definitely Brought On A New Dynamic For Sure. This Episode Is The First One Of Yours That I Have Watched And Throughly Enjoy Your Story Telling Projection. Looking Forward To Following Along Your Future Journeys. Stay Strong, Cheers
We did see alot of EPA cars during our EDT. Sometimes it was ridiculous and sometimes it were very pretty cars, but never the less it was very funny to see. :D
They are very popular in small towns, and following the EDT you're going to run into a lot of them. They don't have to pass any DMV checkups either, hence the varied state of the cars.
Hi, new subscriber here. I just came over from Ryan’s channel. And I remember seeing you and your family years ago on Darren’s channel. Looking forward to watching your travels.
Fantastic video Mike, Sweden is so beautiful👌What a great camping spot by the lake👍Its a shame you have to leave Ryan now, it has been so much fun watching you both interact👍
Thank you Chris! I'm boarding the plane in about an hour to go on my next trip. I'll be posting updates from the trip here and on Instagram. Hint: it's a place with a lot less mosquitoes but plenty of wine and castles.
Hi Mike, great video. I love Scandinavian countries and their nature. Would you have a few tips on bike touring in Norway? I'm planning a 2 week tour in the Fjordland. Best wishes from Poland 😀
Wow! 100 miles in a day - that's fantastic. I love all the beautiful scenery and wish I could take off and do the same thing. Thank you for all the videos. I've watch almost all of them. I can't wait to see where you go next!

@@BikeTouringMike Wine and castles, my two favorites! I’m guessing France! ps, your English is phenomenal! Did you study English in school or did you live in the statuses?
@@3sons4fun20 Mainly just self-taught. Watched a lot of Letterman & Seinfeld growing up. But Swedes are generally pretty fluent in English. My kids speak better than I do.
Great video as always. Looked at the reviews for the campsite you ended up at and lots of them talk about a grumpy unhelpful owner/manager on the site. I really don't know why people work in this type of business if they don't like people.
01:27 "when you have big panniers you are just looking through all 4 panniers before you find what you're actually looking for". perhaps you're a messy guy, I have 4 panniers and a dry bag, in pannier #1 I keep the sleeping bag and my pad, in pannier#2 my clothes, in pannier#3 food, in pannier#4 chargers, tools, cables, and stuff like that. in the dry bag I keep my tent and the rain gear. I know exactly where everything is. it looks pretty simple and practical to me.
@@BikeTouringMike happy to support your fantastic and informative presentations, learning about the newly created divide trail certainly is appreciated…. Flying over next April for 2 months of cycling…. It should be really wonderful, keep up the great work, Thanks Mike!!!

Nice to see Ryan riding from another bikes perspective
nice to see you guys bikepacking together so much fun😊
It was so much fun!
Another great video. Always enjoy your bike trips and this was special to have Ryan along for several days. Blessings!
Yes, it was. Miss having him to talk to when I'm now touring solo again. The miles goes so much faster then.
Just came here after watching the Duzer perspective...... Great to hear your insight into your beautiful country, looks like a bikepackers paradise!
Glad you enjoyed following along!

Welcome to the channel Dana. You have a very Swedish sounding last name by the way. Bergman is very common over here.

Thanks for the ride. 🚴🏽♂️
Thanks for following along!
EPA car was a strange beast. Nothing like that here in Norway. Sweden is very different!!

What are those rocket shaped panniers that Ryan uses?
I don't know what they are called. I guess you have to ask him. But they looked to be some kind of water proof stuff-sack.

cheers for that:)@@BikeTouringMike
Is Ryan riding his Priority X?
Yes he is.
👍👍👍
NO GOOD-BYES
Funny. More money on speakers than car worth 😂.
That happens in Mexico too.
Thanks!
Thank you! That is very kind of you.
