I don't know how this giveaway thing works, but I am very excited about this game. I was gonna buy it on deluxe edition because I love the special items that come with it, especially the jedi outfit like obi Won
Makes sense for both blades to be the same color, considering they use two halves of the same Kyber crystal.
I do kinda miss finding different lightsaber crystal colors. It made the colors feel more special and rare. Can't really complain about having access to all the colors though. It saves a headache from looking for all the crystals

ln my own head canon Cal got a red crystal from one of the defeated inquisiters from the last game and healed it which is why he has access to a white lightsaber in this game.
same as my head cannon which is why im going for white sabers (not just because i love ahsoka)
Literally came to the same conclusion as soon as I saw it as an option and am ignoring any evidence that says he had no opportunity to take their crystals lmao
I'm pretty sure he did. He kept Trillas double sided saber and Cere used it in the last level.
@@duncan1674 He beat Trilla when he got the Holocron. She only got away with the holocron because he disarmed her and grabbed her saber which triggered his force ability to read the history of something. Seeing the trauma she went through allowed her to steal the holocron and run while leaving him with her lightsaber. I only remember this because I just replayed the game.
@@demonintellect9834 Yeah, and then Cere had it. She used it up until the fight with Vader….where she lost it lol. She and cal leave the fortress in that same cutscene without the saber. So at the end of the game they didn’t have it, I also just replayed the game lmao.

Yeah most likely on Star Wars day on may 4 or little later next year for update but who knows?
canonically it makes sense why it wouldnt be cuz its half of the same crystal but itd still be rad for customization to have it regardless

As the difficulty increases, does Saber damage increase as well? It would make sense. Plus, it was a loved difficulty setting in Ghost of Tsushima
If it works anything like Fallen Order I'm going to assume it just increases the enemies' damage and aggressiveness and decreases your parry timing windows
When it comes to customization, they leave little to be desired! I hope we get traditional and High Republic Jedi robe styles, as well as Clone Wars Jedi Armor and that they will be just as customizable as Cal's other costumes with color swapping and such.

Now the question becomes, if this is true, then are these armored robes just as customizable as the rest of Cal's wardrobe, or are they unique and uncustomizable?

I am really excited at this game. Cannot wait to play it on day one.
When it comes to combat, I like what I see. They are using the tried and true SoulsBorne combat, but with a plus at the end of it. I personally don't think that it's as dynamic/fluid as JA, but hey, it worked in FO, it will work in Survivor, and I won't complain.
Can't wait for this game! Replaying fallen order in the mean time!

I’m expecting a GoW 2018 type game where kobo is like midgard and more areas unlock via story. And the other planets are like the other realms are more linear

I still need confirmation that there are more Jedi inspired robes/hoods other than just the Obi Wan pre-order bonus! Also do the pre-order bonus outfits have color options like some of the other outfits. Like are we able to make the Luke outfit all black like his Return of the Jedi outfit, or are those outfits locked in the default color scheme?
At Star Wars celebration the guy interviewing Cameron Monaghan and a game dev said he found clone wars inspired armour with a robe attached when he played it, only other thing I’ve heard regarding classic Jedi style clothing

I hope they have the bounty hunters again but it was annoying they disappeared if you died or when captured you went to that prison planet. I love fighting them as they are challenging especially in the hardest level. It should be like any boss level fight where you battle until you win.

Wasn’t the battle grid and the Meditation training only available AFTER completing the game? I’m pretty sure the only time you have access to it at the beginning of the game is in New Game plus. You have to finish the story to get it if you are on a fresh play through.
Kal healed the red kyber crystal that’s why it’s white, well that’s my thought on why they don’t have a red kyber crystal yet

Ya it was good i enjoyed the story and gameplay thou its sorta like a dark souls game (gameplay wise) so it isnt for everyone. But the games price is pretty low got it on sale for like $7 on psn last year

I still haven't played the game, but a major question I have( beside the map improvement) was did they scale back on the platforming? Thought the first game had too much of it, and was just in there to make the game longer.
cant wait for the game. im happy to see Cal didnt get skill amnesia like so many sequels do. The kylo saber seems like a claymore style weapon. does the styles change stats like dual wield your faster but weaker. single your more defensive and powerful but slower.
Yes it does. The crossguard blade has the strongest attack, but the swings are drastically slower.

I heard from some people that, in the review versions, there are a lot of severe framedrops.

I don't know if that's on pc or also on consoles.
I definitely think frame drops are inevitable whenever a game first comes out especially for PC especially since some consoles can’t push past 60fps
How the stims are working in jedi survivor? Like do i need to collect more stims around the worlds to expend the amount of stims i can hold or can i just buy and make more stims like in hogwarts legacy?
I really hope games add more depth into their ng+. Like maybe different endings or extra gear or anything really. Would be awesome

Been replaying jedi fallen order to jog my memory on the story and reading the battle scars book to get to know more about merrin. Sucks no two different saber colors, hopefully the companions fights with u like arkham knights with moves u can do together. And the blaster saber stance is fun too.

I had really wanted the color of the blades to be different or able to change them. Always wanted to do the Blue and Green, Anakin style in AOTC, right before he gets his shit cut off haha
Purple & Red is the only acceptable option but seems like we're not getting the red saber color back

You never mentioned the guns really.. can you really use them alone or are they just a minor part of the combat? And does it make any difference having different guns? Because you can get an unusual looking one for pre ordering, but I want to know how much difference if any, having different blasters makes
And can we turn off or make the dark souls style reticle invisible? Because I hate those annoying dots on the enemy. And the health bars and stuff. The hud should always be editable, especially for nearly 100 pounds for this game if you want everything

There was an event in Sweden I believe, they invited a bunch of people out to play
So many people went to Dathomir just to get the Staff attachment for the Lightsaber in Fallen Order, when you could have gotten it with less headache on Bogdo, when you found Cordova’s workshop! 🤦🏽♂️ But I’m glad the white saber color was finally added for this game! Overall, this game looks beautiful, and I think that once it releases and people will see how good it is, more people will play it. I think it will be in contention with Hogwarts Legacy, and Tears of the Kingdom for game of the year.

@@JuanGonzalez-vn7zg Hey, I won’t disagree, but both Tears of the Kingdom and Jedi Survivor have to sell the units that Hogwarts moved. Hogwarts moved 12 million in two weeks, that’s insane! But with everyone having a Switch and loved Breath of the Wild, I expect Tears of the Kingdom to be pretty close. But due to the way Disney has handled Star Wars, this may not move the units it should, and could possibly come in 3rd!

Was it annoying to have to pick only 2 stances? I’m a little worried about that one, if it’s like fallen order where certain situations work best with certain stances and you might have to go back to meditate if you want to switch it up for an area
I remember hearing somewhere that while the different stances have different strengths and weaknesses, it is largely up to your personal preference and you don't need specific stances to progress through certain things.
Even in fallen order it was largely dependent on your play style. This just goes further in that direction. I’m sure they are all viable in most situations, just requiring different uses of force powers along with dodges and parties.
I'ma use coss guard and dual so I can have quick but low damage and slow but large damage
You can beat the game with only 1 stance if you want. It's a thing called skill.

Do you know if the new Crossguard and Blaster Stances will be canon? Because in a game, of course, not every single bit of it can be considered canon and also the pre-Ilum double lightsaber in Fallen Order doesn't look like it was canon since every piece of text and dialouge in the game suggests that Cal wen't to Ilum with a broken single lightsaber.
So will the new stances be part of the story?
The broken single blade that cal brought i thought was cere's. Yeah Tapals broke, but i saw single blade and thought Cere
@@goldenghost2001 Cere sold her Kyber Crystal and gave Cal her undamaged but empty hilt so he may use parts of it, in the end he ended up removing just the pommel, adding a mechanism and inserting his crystal to make the split saber.

my biggest concern is the extremely steep pc requirements. not always a bad thing but if it doesnt scale well then itll be problematic.

When it comes to dismemberments, I'm not asking for modded Jedi Academy or Force Unleashed 2, but rather unmodded JK:JA. As long as my lightsaber acts like a sun-hot blade, I'm happy. If they don't want that, they can make/remake Bounty Hunter.
