When you get up to WY, check out the area around Esterbrook, near Douglas. It's one of our favorite hangouts. Lots of dispersed spots, but also a regular campground if all else fails. The drive from there to Friend Park near Laramie Peak is just stunning. Lots of hiking trails. Easy roads. I car camp there in my Subaru a lot. There is a spot on the first right turn after the Sunset Ridge Trailhead. The road in takes patience but is easily doable and not scary (coming from a person who gets freaked out pretty easily) It's my favorite camping spot ever. We call it the Bone Tree because there is a large femur bone of some animal (likely a cow lol) wired to one of the trees. The views are incredible.
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. Wyoming is so beautiful! Besides the obvious Grand Tetons/Yellowstone, the Wind River Range and Bighorn National Forest areas are breathtaking. Have a great time!
lol thanks for tuning in! My fur baby passed away over a year ago and now I’m waiting until I get a long term heat/cooling solution before I get another one. In the meantime I love on ALL the pets I meet on the road lol ♥️
@@TinyTexanAdventures We also love spoiling all the animals we find during our travels...KOA pets, Harvest Host pets, et al. We even enjoy pet-sitting at campgrounds from time-to-time...it gives us our pet "fix" without a full-on commitment because of our busy travels.
So beautiful I am enjoying your videos. My partner and I just bought a camper van and are starting our adventure slowly on weekends. But you are so inspiring
I’m in the sweltering heat of Texas. I’ve watched almost all your Texas adventures videos, since I bought my 2021 Casita. I made some improvements since that I thought were necessary.
@camaroman5208 thanks so much for sticking around after the Van changeover :-). I’m thinking I’ll be back in Texas around September (ish). Trying to let the summer heat there calm down before I do lol
Yes it’s definitely too hot for camping this time of year. I’m looking forward to the fall, I will be heading out to the hill country of Tx. In the first week of October, to the Texas Avid Outdoors fall Expo. Maybe you find yourself near by. You should stop and see lots of cool people and items.
Oh my, I was at the Flaming Gorge just about 8 weeks ago. It was colder and still nice enough to go for walks. Nice camping about 20mins south from there. I will say, I love my van life too. Some times I would like to have more people to do van life with. It would be nice to have someone to share it with. But I do still love it.
Nomad life is at its best when you don't have anywhere you have to be. I pick a rough draft of where I wanna go and some things I wanna see along the way and then just let the road take me. No plan is the best plan
That would be my type of traveling :) How fun, been so busy with work, your vid is a good reminder of what I long for. Have next week off and we are just going to chill at the lake and grill and walk and play cards ... oh, and fish a little from the Pontoon Boat! ha ha Thanks for your vid!
We have a trip planned to Rainbow Tx, have a few open days nothing planned on those and my friends like to stop here and there, I was wondering what you use to film with thinking I need to figure out this so I can post better.

I’m back looking into buying a van similar to yours! Probably have to wait until interest rates come down! Hopefully? 🤞
@ralphp3057 I’ll cross mine for you too 🤞

YES!!!! I like the term rough draft. I do have an idea of what things I might want to see, but I can add or takeaway at any time on a whim ♥️

That sounds like a wonderful plan. You know how I feel about enjoying those little things 😊. Have a great week!
