I couldn’t believe it was Texas! Just up top outside the canopy it was hot and dry and brown but down into that location it was like a tropical paradise. So cool!
Thanks for taking us along! That is a little too rough and snaky for me. However, we live in town and have had water moccasins at our front door and at our back door. Enjoy yourself! We are still waiting for several days of good weather before we strike out again.❤️🌈
Falls looked beautiful. Too bad there is no swimming, after that hike swim is needed. Would suggest you wear a big brim hat, you got a little too much sun. Happy trails.
It was definitely worth the hike… easy for me to say…😂 Thanks for taking us along. The falls were beautiful!!! Hope you didn’t come across any more snakes!!! I don’t do snakes either! Yuck!
Gave up coffee for something really similar called pure boost. I don't dislike coffee and still drink it now and then, but first thing in the morning it kind of hurts my stomach now, and I just don't have time for it. The drink mix is kind of a liquid multi-vitamin in addition to the caffeine. I like that yours is in a cannister instead of individual packets. And, 100% with you on the danger noodles. Nope! Hiking here in WY I am always on the lookout, especially with little black pug who thinks every living creature from buffalo on down to dragonflies (we just had a huge one fly in our car window, much to her delight) are her new best friends.
I to don't like the strong taste of coffee. So i cover it up with International Sweet Cream creamer. So good. Last a long time in refridge. Covers the coffee taste great. Delicious. Love your van. I want a smaller camper. Have a 24 foot now. But am thinking of renting a van or smaller camper to try and see how we like it this summer. Have a safe great time. Colorado is where we are thinking of going.
Oh nice! Heavily doctored coffee would be the only way I could do it lol. Great idea to rent a van or smaller camper and try it out first! I am LOVING Colorado so far for sure. I’ll be making my way up through Wyoming then over to Washington, Canada, and then eventually Oregon & California coasts. May you find great adventures and safe travels ♥️
I love you girl. My hubby and I bought our Casita earlier this year. Hope we run into you on our travels sometime! I respect you so much, I'd be too chicken to travel on my own! Take care and be safe out there! Donna & Dave
lol. Congrats on your Casita ♥️♥️. Hope you are finding fun places to explore in it :-). As far as traveling alone, I just have to remind myself how much adventure I would’ve already missed if I was waiting for someone to go with me 😉
Thanks for sharing the SP ! The falls looked and sounded wonderful! 😁 I am use to the heat working outside in Florida my whole life ! Many days in the summer we are 100% humidity! In the 90’s . Rarely if ever triple digits. Oh , I like snakes 🐍! Not that fond of spiders!!!!! 😬😬
Yuck on that humidity lol. I’ve been a Texas girl my whole life and I don’t think I’ve ever fully adapted to it, I don’t think I could stand it even more than this! Ha! You can keep your “nope ropes”, I don’t like them AT ALL (in case you couldn’t tell)! I don’t mind nature, I just don’t want it to bite me 😂
@@TinyTexanAdventures I hear ya ! Lots of people don’t care for snakes!! I guess I just got use to the heat working outside my entire career. Thanks for sharing Christi!👍😁
It was beautiful and right after all that rain made the falls so full 🥰. It’s 1.5 miles down to the falls. I do stop and take my time and film a bit so I think it took me an hour to get down to the falls but most people probably don’t take anywhere near that long.
If you're hiking where there are snakes, you should take a stick or hiking pole with you as you can use it as defence. Even though you don't like snakes, you should learn to recognise them for your own safety. That waterfall is beautiful 😍
You couldn’t really get to the water, and I was so in awe I don’t even realize it had gotten so hot outside of the canopy until I started the climb back up. Those are good ideas but I think I’ll limit my hikes to cooler ones for a while lol. Hope you are doing well. I haven’t seen any channel updates for you.
@@TinyTexanAdventures I am back working full time in AZ now, so kinda gave up on becoming a social media nomad. If you ever visit the Grand Canyon let me know. I live in my Casita at the NP now.
Wow! The falls are absolutely stunning!
Yes! And the video didn’t even do it justice!
Oh my goodness those falls are absolutely stunning

Your just going everywhere. The van is looking awesome. Glad your getting what you want. 😂😂😂
Thank you 🙏 This place is my new happy place (but maybe one I visit when it’s cooler…🥵)!
Beautiful!
It was a nice surprise for sure ♥️. Thanks for watching and commenting:-)
Always enjoy your videos. Beautiful places you venture to. Safe travels.
Thank you for continuing to watch and comment ♥️
Uummm noooo on the snakes! But beautiful waterfalls ❤️
My sentiments exactly lol. They can have the nope ropes!!

That park is only 1.5 hours from brother in law…Gatesville area.
Same for me on the snakes lol. Yikes on the slithering visitors at your doors!!!! Hoping you get beautiful weather for venturing out ❤️

Thanks for watching! I would love to visit again in the fall when it was a bit more bearable :-)

Oh a swim in the falls would’ve been heavenly in that heat! Good tip on the hat for sure!
It was definitely worth the hike… easy for me to say…😂
Thanks for taking us along.
The falls were beautiful!!!
Hope you didn’t come across any more snakes!!! I don’t do snakes either! Yuck!
lol!!! Actually I’m happy to say the rest of my hike was snake free!
Loved that new intro! That place looks awesome ❤
Thanks 😊 and it was!!!

Ok…I truly laughed out loud at your pug comment 😂😂😂
The cargo van setup is something I may consider in the future. Gorman Falls are beautiful. I was out there about a year ago.
I’m definitely loving Vanlife :-). How was the volume of the falls when you visited?
@TinyTexanAdventures when I visited the flow, was low, but still beautiful.

Beautiful, im with you on the snakes…no thank you
lol yep, I call them nope ropes!
Christi, i cant decide on a small trailer or a van…both have plusses and negatives. Are you happy you made the switch?
The short answer is yes but I’m including this one on my Q&A for Friday :-)

How long did the hike actually take you walking each way? I’ve always heard those falls are beautiful. Thanks for sharing the park.

True! Trust me though, my camera stand would become a weapon real quick 😂😂
Were you able to register and title your van as an RV and get insurance as an RV. Thanks
I would have at least soaked my shirt in the water to cool down. Definitely need a large hat and personal fan. Look up cooling neck wraps.
