I would love to see the Paper Mario series revisit the original games at some point. I've always had the idea of time travel where Mario has to "flip" through different eras of the series to chase an evil threat.
the super paper mario flipside+flopside mashup is (from what ive found) one of the oldest mario mashups ever uploaded (and still intact) onto youtube. it was made about 15-14 years ago!
