Get some samples (not just vocals) on the go... I love the broad sound sources of Snivilisation & In Sides, the weird sampled drum hits, pitched shifted pads/drones/lo-fi rawness - you never know where the sound has come from and makes a much broader palette than just using analogue style synth sounds. It would be great to hear a shift back to that style of production, it's what made up Orbital's finest work, in my opinion. Looking forward to what the new album brings, great idea - video diary!
do i love coincidence. just watched Escape from New York today, paying special attention to Carpenter's soundtrack. and listened to the Times Fly EP on my bike. and came home listening to The Ideal Condition. and then found this. hooray!

Just listened to In Sides last night. It is such a classic album. Glad to see you guys working on another together. Personally, I've always liked when you integrate abstract vocals into the tracks.
Nice, I now see this was the beginning of Distractions. I love watching these again and trying to figure out what they became on the album.
Sounds good. More reverb, delay and just fuck it up a bit more. Feel very weird giving you guys suggestions..but hey..if you are curious.
I'm psyched! Orbital's one of the couple electronic groups I really like (I'm a blues-rock boy myself). I can't wait!!

Phil, sounds like Orbital, but in my opinion some of them are... trivial a bit. I will evaluate when they will be ready. Good luck!
@Danro22 I made a mistake, my bad. But this sounds trivial, I haven't changed my opinion. I'm not junkie, bonehead.
Loving the Carpenter track loads....reminding me a lot of Snivilisation days ...which is a massive thumbs up from me :)
fascinating sounds there... let's hope the weirdness escalates to satanic levels :)
