We can't say for sure whether or not it's going to last because we're not a part of their relationship. I don't think how long you've known someone determines how well you know the person. There are people I've known my entire life but I'm not as close to as others that I've met recently. It's their commitment to making their relationship one that stands the test of time, and their strive to make it one of quality (whereby their both happy) that will make their relationship.
