I honestly didn’t know that Rixton was the precursor to Push Baby until after I had discovered Mama’s House and fell in love with it. I’m amazed at the transformation that Jake himself has made. Keep it up man. I’m loving what you’re doing.
I fell in love with these four guys from England who were performing these amazing covers and they initially called The Relics then Rixton , and now push baby. I found myself connecting with their talent, kindness, and sense of humor. I'll be a fan for life because of the honesty and knowing themselves enough to know when its time to make a change. They've evolved and I cannot wait to hear the rest of the album. In case Jake reads this, everything he said made complete sense- one of the hardest things we can do is to learn to trust ourselves. I believe in tapping into that part of himself; he'll be successful no matter what he decides to do. Thank you for the push.

i can't get anything out of this interview .. the question is very simple what change name has to do with your real talent, you say being authentic .. well there is nothing more authentic than your real talent which you proved it years back, let me say this .. you will never make a better song than wait on me or me and my broken heart as push whatever baby .. because you can't be not you just by changing your name .. that was authentic, now the name Rixton .. bad??? really and push baby is awesome?? really? i think Rixton is sick name and authentic ..while pushbaby is like asking Ariana or Bieber "what do you think" .. so it won't be you!!
It wasn't authentic for him because he wasn't writing the songs, a lot of big artists don't write their own songs and hate the fact that they don't or can't because the label won't let them
