They should have just had Adam pre record those. Stretching ad reads out mixed in with jokes and talking is the most annoying way possible and hardest to skip
@laptv2144 It is very funny to laugh at Adam trying to find when he should continue the next lines of the ad though, and struggle to do so.
It truly demonstrates that Adam has zero comedic timing, or social timing in general.

Yes, it was definitely a fantastic avant garde plan, not Nick being a low-energy "life is bland" post-cokehead on kratom sitting around complaining the podcast couldnt be done at 9am. I have no understanding about comedic dynamics, I'm so gay I don't know what a 'straight man' is, and I have such a girl brain I'm parasocially in love with the most cynical emoboi I recognize in any group dynamic. It's great to see my boyfriend having any level of energy and deciding he should just do low effort accent to make most low effort gay generic racist joke, but only the kind where socially disabled children that own marvel t shirts will laugh too
