Lived in Dubai for a few years. Still miss it. It was my home and still feels like home when was I watching this video. Thanks for posting it. You mentioned you did not see emiraties/locals. Because of Ramadan they stay home. You can see them only after 7PM when iftar starts . It gets very busy at night because they eat after sun set.

Only Egypt was stressful, Oman and Jordan we had an amazing trip and no stress really. We preferred all those 3 over dubai overall though

I love that you went to Dubai...and then had Filipino food!! There are tens of thousands of OFW's in Dubai, many send their money back to their families in the Philippines. It's popular to work in the service industry and the energy facilities there because the money is good! Also Halo-Halo translates into Mix-Mix so yes a very interesting mix of flavors :-)))

Thank you both for this great video ! It was obvious that you really enjoyed being there. I've travelled extensively but Dubai is my favourite city in the world. It's so tidy, so clean, so crime-free and of course very impressive. I've been there 6 or 7 times and my favourite thing was watching the fountains. I've also been to the Philippines 3 times, Manila, Baguio and some coastal towns.I'm now a subscriber by the way.

Im here in UAE actualy in Sharjah emirates which is 30 minutes away from Dubai. If you guys have time try to explore the emirates to see and expereince the emirates has to offer.. FUJAIRAH, Ras Alkhaima,Abudhabi and Sharjah.

If you happen to visit this Mall, would love to see and meet you both. Have watched your wonderful vlogs when you were in the Philippines and also in your travels to other countries. It's good to see that finally you have tried halo-halo already. That restaurant is good, Grill Corner. I would also recommend you to visit Kooya restaurant which just recently opened...it's the first international restaurant of a famous Filipino chef JP Anglo, also a UA-cam vlogger like you. Enjoy and have a nice stay here in Dubai.
I have been to Dubai many times - either as a 2/3 day stopover to get to South East Asia or Maldives or Seychelles or to visit a relative there. Dubai is a great place to visit but I think Abu Dhabi is better IMO

Hello guys, I had been following your video posts for quite sometime. I like that you tried Filipino foods, although you are in Dubai and still remember those dishes way back when you get stranded in Palawan during the pandemic time. By the way, some inputs regarding the dessert "halo-halo" which you also tried recently, the word halo-halo means "a mix" in Pilipino language. As you noticed its a mixed of several varieties of sweet foods, and commonly you need to mix it all before eating by the locals there, but not really necessary and its okay as how you prefer to consume it. By the way, the green ball it is called "sago" made of starch, you can sometimes find it in red or yellow colors too, and there is another dessert in the Philippines which is called "sago-gulaman" maybe you can try that once you get back again to the Philippines. Can't wait to see your videos out there again.
i moved to dubai from the UK 8 months ago and i live in downtown dubai now ~ i regularly venture to the dubai mall and i am still ✨ amazed ✨ at how truly breathtaking the burj khalifa is, how amazing the fish tank is and of course how gigantic the mall is! a complete and utter maze! i loved watching dubai through your eyes.

I think the best part of this video was seeing you and Carol shop at H&M and also when you were trying out those menthol crystals.JiJiBaBaDingDong! The native residents of UAE are a minority in their own country since most of them don't work - they hire immigrants to do most of their work. It was fun seeing you and Carol also dined at a Filipino restaurant. The restaurant you dined at really had good plating. Sinigang is one of my favorite stews! Halo halo literally means mix mix. every place that offers it will have a different version of it. The one you and Carol had looked pretty good. Its also one of my fave desserts.
That mall aquarium IS stunningly beautiful. Like the spice market. I WANT THAT DESSERT!

Hi Chris and Carol you forgot to mix the halo halo which literally means mix mix. Don't eat the mixture individually you have to mix it at the same time checking the sweetness of the sugar according to your liking. Kabayan gupit means compatriot hair cut.

Good to know that you guys have plan to come back here in the 🇵🇭😃 Try to explore the northern part of luzon. Cagayan valley region is underrated lots of hidden gems! Palaui island is one of my favorite and the nearby has lots of beautiful beaches and islands.

The Water in the ,,pool'' between Burj Khalifa & Dubai mall, comes from the AC in the buildings...the AC filter the water out of the air, and collect it in the pool in front of the mall =)

We have a similar “lake” in The Venetian in BGC in Manila on a tiny scale. 😉 no dancing lights but we have diff boats and some Venetian-style boats plying the man made “pool”.

Although you are Brazilian and it is very unlikely that you will wear that hatata again, you should have bought it as a souvenir from your trip to one of the wealthiest, most exciting, and most glamorous places on the planet. After all, one does not visit magnificent glittering Dubai every day when one lives in Brazil! Who knows, you may have even had the opportunity to wear it at a costume party and show it off to your friends! Nice video.

halo-halo literally means to mix all the ingredients in that bowl to a somewhat a milkshake consistency before you start digging in.

In the halo halo the cake is a custard one called leche flan. Those green thing is called kaong from coconut. There are munggos and the yam is called haleya
