Sony please! We need more of this kind of lens. The AF/MF mechanism is so easy to use. The distance marker and the not-focus-by-wire makes it easy to put on follow focus.
Beast of a lens - probably my favourite one from all the lenses.

Hello Sony person!
I just purchased a new A7 IV and this lens, the 90 mm f2.8 FE macro, this lens is touted as the second sharpest available, and everyone raves about it and no matter what I do I cannot get a sharp picture out of it. At best it's slightly soft and quite noisy. No it's not high I so it's still occurs at 100 with this color pixily noise. I expected far more sensitivity out of this camera with its sensor that is without exaggeration 30 times larger than my phone's. I'm at a loss and don't really want to return it but handheld smartphone pro raw photos are on par or even outpacing my brand new setup, tripod mounted with time delay shutter in full outdoor light. If someone could contact me that would be great! I'm not new to photography, in fact quite experienced, however this is frustrating me to no end. 🙏
