For years I thought most of those simple introduce a character shot were pure CGI, but no, their puppets and it's incredible. I can't believe that Aragog was in fact a physical character on
screen so to speak.

That's what makes movies feel real and look real
Those creatures (not Buckbeak) have scared the living daylights out of me including that dragon from the Goblet of Fire. But today, and now, this video does make sense on how they make them. Although it must’ve been hard work on creating them, as no wonder most of the movies were left out Oscar nominated.

For a moment I thought this was _Jim Henson's_ Creature Shop. But no. They did do work on the troll for the first movie. Shame they didn't do more for the series.
This is brilliant! I saw some of this in london at the Harry Potter studio. I've always been interested in this kind of stuff, and wanted to work with stuff like this is there a place I can go to learn about this? Such magical things that have given life and effect to so many things over the years. My whole life I've wanted to work with stuff like this! Please where can I go for training, and a job?
