You know that engineers were involved when it came to oil filter location. The good Lord blessed you with patience and perseverance. Wonderful video from beginning to end. Very informative. Thanks much.
Try to remove the metal support for left fairing (next to coolant hose that goes to water pump) it will be way easier to pull out the oil filter. Thats what service manual indicates to do. Nice video!
I have the same bike same colour I use a socket wrench and there is a cap that fits the oil filter and attaches to socket wrench £10 eBay or bike shop when you buy oil and oil filter

Question : Do you check your oil level while the bike is on the main stands or not ?
@@Fl1ntsto93 on the main one ☝️
@davetompkinsmotorcyclevlogger thanks Dave.
Wrap your exhaust pipes with aluminum foil under the oil filter to keep the oil drips and spills off the pipes.
Ha ha I did on the filter but forgot the rest, your the first to spot it, 👌👍👍thanks for warning

i prefer to not warm the oil before draining,its already collected in the sump and not thrown around the engine
some folk throw in a bit of new oil to flush out the sump before replacing plug,Wasteful or sensible? dunno
Oil filter replacement is little bit complicated.
