I own a savage drive v3, a savage boost with custom artwork, the ruthless boost, one of the last first-run hades gates and the bare enclosure tight series-tight pre and tight scream. Fucking love Richards pedals! The ruthless boost is such a versatile tool. When used mildy with the internal trimmers set correctly, it can help push another boost pedal into the front end of your amp, allowing you to dial less output on the boost and retain a clearer tone while still hitting the front of your amp hard enough to get that compression, or run it in your amp's loop as a transparent solo boost, and I've even found it can add a little body and sparkle to a lifeless clean tone, if you use it very subtly. Although that may only work with low-mid output pickups into a fendery clean. The nemesis boost looks like another precisely tuned, simple application pedal. Hellyeah!
I love mine. I never had any pedals except a metal zone when a teen and then over a decade again I start playing and use a joyo precision drive clone. Now my pedal is almost all Airis
Recently bought a used nemesis drive, love it. Amazing how much this one knobber gets metal sparks n shards flying as well. Any chance of a T shirt of this one for sale?
Yeah, that sounds great. I was a little skeptical about this new one knob boost being "better" than the recently discontinued 2 knob Savage Boost, but this really sounds killer. I have an Earthquaker Devices Arrows, which is another one knob mid boost pedal, but I get the sense this one is way better, at least for metal. Which is no surprise, cause hey, this is Airis Effects It also looks fantastic, as usual! Love that green/black
I'm digging the new video format. I also have this pedal. I love how simple it is with one knob to achieve the same thing as sd1, klone, or boutique ts when I put in front of my Revv G50
Id also recommend getting a carnage drive. It's two knobs and adds some more distortion, while still being an OD that boost so many, even high gain amps
I don't have a Fortin grind, closest I have is a dirty tree which has a mode based on the 33 which is the same really as the grind. Two different kinds of pedals though. This is based around a drive, the grind is a TC integrated preamp
The 33 is tc integrated preamp based, this is not, it's a mid boost/overdrive. I feel something like the 33 works best with really low tunings and into amps like dual recs that have really muddy low-ends. This, while tight, doesn't get thin like a 33 does with guitars that aren't tuned really low.
Basicaly, yeah. The Grind/33 is a voiced clean boost with a very aggressive EQ-curve (cutting lows/highs, boosting mids). The Nemesis seems to be in the same ballpark. Would be interesting to hear them side by side, to compare the frequency-ranges.

Bro that is a sick riff and mix man. Absolute banger. Was curious about the pedal, stayed for the headbanging
Thanks, man! Was really happy with the riffs here for sure.
That shit sounded fearocious!!!

Idk, don't know what merch Airis has planned
Bone crushing riffs and demo! This pedal is going sound killer with my Synergy 6505.
Thanks, man! I really like the riffs in this one

Well shit, guess I need this thing. That sounded kickass!
I bought one to go with my old 4 knob Brutal Drive which is my favorite boost, I just hope it's not similar to my fortin grind.
Pretty different from the Fortin grind. This doesn't have the clank that and other TC integrated preamp style pedals tend to have.
@@MetalHeadProductions Got it today it rips. Cool riffs by the way.
How would this pedal be on the blue channel evh stealth
It'll crush there too, but you'll need to put the bass but that amp is already tighter and this is super tight.
Could you do a comparison video with this pedal and the fortin grind?

Airis Effects is just killing it, imho.
Absolutely, so many killer pedals.
@@MetalHeadProductions , and at good prices.
Great sound! Also great guitar playing! 🤘
This stuff is pimptight! Love it! And the price is also really good
Sold.
Great video! 👍 how does this compare to a fortin 33 boost pedal?

@MetalHeadProductions thanks for getting back to me. The savage pedal was sick! Thanks again
@@garnine999 savage is classic
Does sound hella good 🤘
Should be interesting to try in ENGL amps .
Is this a clean boost like the 33
Its a clean boost, no dirt, but it's more of an overdrive/mid boost. Not based on the TC integrated preamp like the 33.

class riffage again dude
I ordered it just after seeing your demo... However, 81 CAD delivery for France is almost the price of the pedal.
Oof, I'm sorry, that international shipping can be a bitch.
Ok
Sure
