Way to lower the guy's self esteem. Honestly, I would love to have a romantic man like that. She is very unappreciative of him. I feel like he is always the one trying and sacrificing for her.

Anybody else wishing they had a Bobby in their life?
Bobby has been so sweet and kind to her out of hopes of winning her affections and fear of losing her. Danielle knows she lucked out because with her personality and overall complacency in the relationship, she would not have been able to land this catch of a man under other circumstances. She probably wrote that card in the 5 minutes before He got home. He was even willing to give up a great portion of his life savings to pay off her debt. Debt from a lot of traveling she as done for her self... He's been fully invested since day one.
Good for her I guess she hit the jack pot. She got the house the man the baby and the life.. Hopefully he doesn't get burnt out. I hope she puts a little more effort and stops taking him for granted. She sees the look of disappointment in his eyes and sadness at times and totally acts oblivious to it.
He's super kind to her..mean girls always land the good guys..

I can see why she was single. Bobby will continue to kill himself doing everything without her showing any emotion. He wanted to get married so bad I feel sorry for him. Almost made me cry and skipped the kiss on the first meal choice. Really she couldn't of thrown him a bone. You can see some of the hurt on his face. Many women would love to find someone like him. Wow, what has he gotten himself into.

Everything she says or does seems so underwhelming. And this is coming from someone who isn't bothered by her eyebrows like everyone else and agreed with her on her views about the gender roles in the household.

Bobby needs to get used to being disappointed with this emotionally stunted female. She needs a shrink and he needs a divorce. He’ll eventually have custody of the baby, because she’ll get bored and the baby will require much more than she has to give(like emotions).The marriage will be over soon after.
I get the feeling that Danielle just stayed married to Bobby to have a baby. I really don't get the impression that she really have feelings for him.

I've been trying to figure out why he is so desperate for a long time now. He appears to come from a loving, tight-knit family, why is he so insecure?
I have given this thought. Some people are pragmatist. They have a checklist. They do not deviate. They want their vanilla ice cream with no sprinkles. The one thing I see that will eventual set Bobby off and bring an argument is money. She's 30 with a $10k credit card bill and she's demanding a new house when they have no equity because he's only had his current home a year. He wants to take care of his girls, fine, but by not stepping up and saying no to moving he is setting himself and his girls up for a fall. He's a saver. She's a spender. That will be where the rubber hits, not meets, the road.
Poor guy - trying to convince himself that he's satisfied with the scraps she gives him. That can only last so long before he'll get hungry for something (or someone) better. Get over yourself, girl, and TELL him how much you value him - do the thing that's NOT easy for you, instead of writing it down - pathetic.
Painful to watch. She seems so reserved, emotionally cold. Her response to his baby journal was "it's cute, it almost, almost made me cry". Ugh. She characterises him as "sentimental". I would characterise her as robotic, without emotional depth. What if she is equally unmoved by her baby and continues in her aloofness. When will he crack and want more emotional responsiveness in a partner. And one who is more responsible with finances and less materialistic.
I wonder why some of you are worried with bob and hates danielle when they seem very happy having no problems at all haha chill guys

This got me annoyed at first. Why didn’t she play along? It wouldn’t have been hard I thought the menu was cute, and NEEDED she should’ve did all the courses. That card she gave him was beautiful though, she clearly loves him. And he did get a kiss at the end... I just want them to work.

However.... that is how it work. That is the nature of love. And often it is the woman's place to not advertise her ''love for the man'' on a huge billboard of tears and never-ending comments about how much he means to her.
THE FACT that you are by his side often shows were he stands with you and what he means to you. No need to spill your guts ladies, relax and stop speaking ill of a woman who is not as emotional as society expects.
