sad thing is that this game was rushed as hell , half of the god damn game was cut... they even wanted to make a sequel and a cortex standalone game some of the most wasted potential for a video game :/
God that bass line at the beginning was already masterful and then the rest of the song starts kicking in and oooohhhhhhh it's so damn good. Who would've known an already great theme could be improved by howling guitars?

I am not that impressed by SOME of your other works (because I don't think some of the Crash Bandicoot songs work with metal) but I must say I am amazed at what you have managed to do to this song! It's really REALLY good! Evil Twins theme was one of my favorites in Twinsanity. Another one of those favorites was Rooftop Rampage and I think you would agree with me if i say that that song also works good with metal and your style! I would really appreciate a cover on that! Anyways, Good job. Keep on doing your thing! thumbs up to you, man!

Probably the best metal cover of this song out there. And it’s honestly one of the VGM most deserving of a metal rendition, especially the breakdown in the song. I personally would’ve liked to see more chugging-style backing guitar in that section, but what’s here is more than enough. In a few ways, it reminds me a bit of Metallica’s solos, specifically Battery.
This game ever gets the Remake treatment from Activision, fingers crossed, and it gets to PC, I will personally make a mission of somehow making a mod that replaces the music with your covers, because they're fucking awesome (pending your approval of course, if the Remake even happened in the first place)
