      I know I am lovable and worthy and love myself but still what about when your husband reject you, never say love you or you are beautiful or doesn't even want to give a kiss and push away ? I learned to love myself and telling myself this things but I am in a marriage and I can't give that love to myself. A hug, love intimacy that I still want from my husband. How to deal with this in a marriage?

    • @MarisaPeer
      @MarisaPeer  3 роки тому +1

      Some people feel hesitant to discuss feeling rejected with their partner. Others might have tried discussing their feelings but since the problem has persisted, feel reluctant to do so again. However, staying silent and tolerating or accommodating the situation will not make you feel any better. Instead, the rejections will only continue to wear away at your self-esteem and happiness. Despite how risky it might feel, bringing up the topic, as clearly and as assertively as possible is the only way to begin a dialogue about change and make your partner aware of the emotional damage his or her behavior is causing. - Marisa Peer Team

    That’s sooo amazing! It’s been just one month I’ve been listening to your wisdom Marisa. I almost died a couple months ago. I hated myself profoundly. I really feel ( I am) healthy, happy and people asking my family what’s wrong with Olga, I used to have the most negative feelings... just name it. I paid of all of my credit cards in a couple of months ( I’ve been paying those cards about 5 years. Credit score good.
    Who ever is ready this, please don’t give up! It’s working. Don’t give up. God bless all of you beautiful people. You are amazing!

    It's missing an important point : people making you feel UNlovable and unworthy of love or respect. It's a common game some love to play and they can go very far in that direction ! It's not all about our mindset, it's also about the agressive and archaic ego-oriented world we live in.

      Don’t be worried about age. What is truly important is timeless-like wisdom. Nothing is more valuable than that. The distillation of lifetimes. This is why speech, writing, Marissa, and you are here. The tragedy is that so many people stop learning. Or indulge the wrong “distilled spirits” 😂🤷‍♀️ or other addictions... Like old programs that Marissa talks about. Much love. ❤️👍🏻

    You are lovable to the ones compatible with you. Your opposites will hate you which is ok. So choose people you hang around with...Bible says pick your friends because same feathers flock together. Plus, bible says marry the same yolk. So love happens among compatible people. First, know thy self so you'll know what kind of people who'll be compatible or have a lot in common with your core values and interest.

    16 mins in was right on. My family was so mentally abusive to me and it made me feel unloved and un wanted on such a deep level that throughout my life it didn't matter what I did, all my relationships went south 2 months in. I'm 50 now and have been single and heart broken most of my life. I know I'm a great catch. I've always known that. But once I really feel in love with someone, I get scared I will lose them and then I do. no matter how much I try to pep talk myself and try to let go and have faith, it never works

    I thought I loved myself. But after a toxic relationship I realised I actually didn't. I was looking for someone to save me from I don't know what. But I gave him my power. He almost destroyed me. I have never hated or disliked my self. I was always I am who I am. But for that relationship I self hated. Self harmed. Never again...Now a year Down they track I'm finally learning to love me and save myself.
    Thank you for teaching me how. It's easy to say love yourself. But we can't if we don't know how. Forever grateful 💜🙏

      So glad to know that you have learned something from your experience and that you have already recovered. Why punish yourself for the toxic relationship when it's not your fault? As of about a month ago I just recently was made aware of "clearing & blocks" so I'm now a little bit familiar with the subject BUT until watching this video today I was unaware that therapists are also capable of removing blocks on a professional level. I'm aware that energy healers are able to aid in clearings but I didn't know about being able to get clearings from therapists. ✨

    The one thing I disagree with Marisa on is the anti depressant thing. Anti depressants and other prescribed medications are necessary if you are really down for at least 2 weeks, if you have anxiety which is a big problem, and your doctor has prescribed it because you really need it. Sometimes people need medication for a while to get through a terrible period in their lives, or because they have a genuine psychiatric illness. Even anxiety and depression are genuine mental health illnesses which need treatment. Anti depressants are usually part of this treatment. Yes, every pill has side effects, but that's why people need to keep trying different ones if the first one is not helping, or gives you too many side effects. Follow your gut instinct and usually a doctor who knows you really well can give you good advice.

    I recently broke up from a relationship I think what you say is true. When I first met him I must have been happy go lucky and not acting needy. But then after a few weeks I felt like I was wanting to see him more than he wanted to see me. I don’t know what went wrong??? It lasted three years with me doing all the running. I tried to back off but he could see that I was putting on an act. Our relationship ended so abruptly he just stopped calling me. He didn’t even give me a reason. What did I do wrong. I would have done anything for him

    Hi Marisa, love why you do. I have a question. When speaking affirmations, do you need to feel something or just keep saying it everyday until you believe it? I have been struggling with this concept. Thanks ❤️❤️

    Hi Maria!) Can I start teaching and help someone to grow even if I am a bit damaged myself?) I used to feel terrible in the past but now I am almost healed by my own efforts and tactics!) I feel something like 7/8 out of 10, but used to feel 2/3 out of 10))) Should I wait until I will be my best version or I may start right now? I guess I have something to share because I have really seen my lows and now I feel pretty good!) I don't have any money problems but I think people will think that I am crazy or arrogant or something else)))

    One question tho - if no one in your life loves you , how can you convince yourself you are lovable because the way people interact with you will just keep reinforcing the idea ur not . Do you think it’s always 100% in our power? Like for example, I feel this advice may work gr8 for a socially confident woman whose just gone through a divorce or the avr healthy teen suffering from self esteem issues because it’s poorly supported self doubt that makes them feel like that whereas people who may have no one who loves them may take this very literally telling themselves they are lovable each day when they never experience love. This cognitive dissonance would be a lot to handle - I experienced similar in a very dark period of my life I was saying all the right things to myself, countless peptalks but I was still unbearably unhappy and stressed because those relationships with people just were not present

      Unfortunately due to Marisa’s online talks, teaching in schools and attendance at events, Marisa is unable to work with clients or take unscheduled calls. However, if you wish to have an RTT session, Marisa encourages everyone to get in touch with her Find A Specialist Therapist service where all the therapists have been trained by Marisa and come highly recommended.

    I found a healing cd by Marisa that was very powerful. I did cringe with this video when she said a man was Jewish so did not want his wife to work. I am Jewish and why did she have to say it is because he is Jewish. I never saw that growing up or with Jewish people. Perhaps it would have been better if she did not mention his religion as that has nothing to do with it. I think it was this talk. Obviously, he grew up in a family like that but nothing to do with being jewish.
