Appreciate the shout-out to the lettering - it's one of those important aspects of a comic that doesn't get much attention unless done poorly. Ever since your FOMO show with Peter and Freddie, I've tried to take note of lettering more. Thanks Jess!
Great video and coverage! I feel a lot during this most recent era of X-men is all around great stuff that can be new reader friendly but not always. If you go into it with prior knowledge then it pays off pretty well especially with all the call backs to characters and story lines. I’m not even the biggest X-Men fan but even I found little cool gems that made me love this era even more. Great video!
Love this run, can't wait to see the hardcovers and omnibus edition for this in the future, also love the books design for all the books, fantastic and looks amazing in the shelf. Also can't wait to see what Gail Simone and team will create for the next phase. ❤ Thanks for sharing as always.
Thanks for watching! The oversized hardcover format is dead at Marvel now so it would have to be in omnibus or Modern Epic format. They could publish the X books in both formats but mapping those will have to done carefully
Loved that you went right ahead to the highlights of the book! I have yet to read this one but it sounds interesting. Duggan is hit or miss for me on xmen. Towards the end, he kind of fell off but love this period of xmen
I would take note of the series that I enjoyed most in case they are published in Modern Epics that way. I'm not sure they would publish them in anthology format again but if they come out in several omnis they'd have to map them very carefully!
I have not read Trials of X yet, still reading Reign of X. It looks like Wolverine is not all included in the X run because there are three OHC Wolverine books which are thick. Some of it is in Dawn and Reign but not all of it. Can you attest to this, or else Omar can.
Wolverine ends in Trials of X with issue 19. You can start with Wolverine TPB #4 which collects 20-25 and keep going in the trades which so far have collected up to issue #50.. The trades contain what the OHC's do and beyond. The OHC's end with issue 40. Does this help??
@OmnidogsVault Yeah, Trials of X vol. 9 collects Wolverine 2020 issue 19 and that is the end so ohc vol.2 of Wolverine is 14 -25 and ohc vol.3 is 26 -40. Or something like that... but there is more you say, issue 50 in trades or single issues. There might be an ohc vol. 4 to come out? Anyway that is a lot of stuff not included in the X trades.
@OmnidogsVault It looks like trades 8 & 9 include issues 41 - 50 and it is called Sabertooth War part 1 and 2. That is true there will not be an ohc vol. 4. Wolverine 2020 - 2024. I will get it if it does come out and it comes across the tables. Even 41 - 50 is over 300 pages long. Anyway you didn't pick up the Marvel Multiverse Roleplaying game x-men expansion?

Named off so many series, need the omnibus to come out.

Thank you!! Happy you dug this!
TQ for the review..for me to consider whether to buy or not to buy

@@HPCthulhu2011 yeah the trials ending forces us to pick up the story ourselves in TPB. I don’t know if there will be a fourth OHC though for Wolvy
