- Today I visited a suit tailor and got a custom luxury suit made for a wedding in January. I learnt more about the owners and tried to negotiate good price.

These shops are very expensive.
$170 is a good price considering it's a tailor made suit with some of the best materials from a well established brand inside a luxury hotel. And it appears they lowered it down specially for you since you're a tourist. Wouldn't have worked with us LOL. BTW nice choice, it'll look really great! 👌

Lawrencepur is one of the most expensive shops in Lahore, 30,000 is a very good price. I have got suits around 37k from them
Tbh you Got a very good price, the fact that they're best in the city, plus you decided to get customized Tailoring with high quality fabric. Even we would've not got this at 30k PKR

When you visit a country first get a local guide,
+if ya wanna buy something Google the price if ur on a restaurant then ask the price first, don't go to a big restaurant they will charge you well hope ya got me
, wherever you wanna go, Uber, kareem, are available so they can't cheat ya, cause you know what you will give at the end of the ride, N finally, take care of ur things, stay away from those places where you see alot of ppls cause you will deal with pick pockets.

Hubby paid $450 after 30% discount and it needs alterations too. after seeing your video my hubby seriously thinking to get a custom tailored suit from Pakistan. really your suit is so beautiful, fitting and price so good. :)
The shop is in PC - usually they don’t bargain like you would do with a street vendor. $170 for tailor made is a solid price

you cant even get a normal suit from shelf from a normal brand below 10-12k anymore. Good ones are 20k ish and tailored ones are obviously going to cost a lot more . So the price is good

Suit perfect man, I don't know about the price, but I think for a taylored suit in PC, the price is pretty reasonable with a high end quality. Incase you missed, you are at a 5 star hotel filiming an establishment inside. Anywhere else in the world in situation like this, if you have been in one, you would not be allowed to film first, second the prices would be 7 times higher EASY. i know because i have been in more than one. Please dont try to offend nice people like that. The way you say tourist dont want to be ripped, the same way decent people and establishments would not like if you put a shade on them like that. Like them, you are also representing. You represent tourist youtubers so please reciprocate to the kindness and dont take it for granted. Best!
Harry you got a very good price. Tailored suits range between 50 to 80k.
30,000 is good as they are the famous brand and that is why expensive due to quality.

Lawrencepur is one of the oldest company of Pakistan. Getting a tailored made suit from there in 30k is quite reasonable. And to be honest it looked really good on you.

In Amsterdam you can pay 400 euros the least for a good tailored suit.

They are selling Lawrencepur fabric for the suit mate it’s the best you can get anywhere in the world, Pakistani fabric industry is top notch in the world and the fabric you have purchased is truly high end equal to Versace quality tbh and that’s me saying a Pakistani living in the UK for 16 years.Jacket and trousers fitting is spot on mate, proper buff!

@11:30 A Zara full suit cost like 100 dollars in Europe. And to tailor such a suit costs around 100 dollars. So would not say it is much cheaper than in europe. The pants indeed was tailor made from Raw fabric. But this jacket is just a shelf jacket (from a good but not high end brand) which is tailored to fit. A real tailored suit is when you choose raw fabric, they design and make the suit. Those cost thousands in europe.

I am a fashion merchandiser in UK. And this is more than a bargain. Fabric is good because they produce textiles. Many UK retailers produce in Pakistan.
Tailor made suits in the USA are for the very rich; cost around $600.00 minimum. You got a great deal.

It's a reasonable price, 30K is not a big deal, some big stores charge more than that.
Custom tailored suits fit you so much better. You won't find loose fabric behind your back between your shoulders. Jacket fits your body like a glove. You look great in the combo !!

To be really honest the initial price of 45 was not at all bad. I checked the prices and a 3 price suit can cost over 1000 pounds in england. So you got a pretty solid deal.
You paid luxury hotel price but it is still a great deal tailored suits are not cheap anymore, good colour combo. Very lovely enjoy the suit well wishes to ur brother.

That is a very good price for that suit. because I always get stitched my suit from Dandy, they are also here near too. But their stitch quality is really really good. I don't know much about Lawrancepur stitching because never tried them but yeah for a suit fabric they are one of the best. I just bought a pre-stitched jacket from them for 100$ in 2012. But they gave you a good deal indeed.

Tailor in mall or elite place in my experience more expensive than tailor in traditional market cause they must pay rent room, tax and VAT. Tailor in traditional market would be also as good as with mall/hotel if you have recomendation from local. You look good with new suit as preparing for attend official event.

I'm a dry cleaner tailor in the uk. To clear things up. Custom made in any country means an off the rack suit that is being adjusted to your measurements. Do not confuse this with bespoke which is a suit made to order from scratch. This would cost thousands. Nobody owns one of these unless they hand their own material to the tailor. A bespoke suit is virtually impossible to make. All things taken into account harry did very well.

Firstly, it would take 3 months minimum to make. The tailors make you believe that they're bespoke but that entire industry died out a century ago. These suits are made with modern technology.
I've worked on these suits for 20 years. People on the street still insist their suit is hand made, is pure wool, was ready in 24 hours and they got a special once in a lifetime discount for £100. I'm not an asshole I tell them they look like James Bond. They then tell me their tailor works with royalty etc
He is really just a salesman. To be a jermyn st suit tailor required a seven year apprenticeship that many people couldn't dream of achieving. But for people that cant tell the difference between silk and polyester these guys do make you feel like a million bucks for a day and they work hard so more power to them.

In London, a tailor told me that stitching alone Starts from £300 ($370 dollars). And that is not a five star hotel shop front, just an ordinary looking shop in Shepherds Bush area in West London. Next to him, there is an Italian hair dresser who does your butt waxing for £90 ($120).

You got the suit in a very Good price .Usually price of a Lawrencepur suit for us the Pakistanis also starts from 35 to 110000 rs . Very nice color combination and i think next week i am going to get one from that shop in PC Lahore

It's kinda funny that just because you are in Pakistan you expect everything to be cheap, That is one of the top and in fact the oldest brand of suiting in Pakistan and their suits can go over $500 easily. Specially for something going on youtube they wont give any low quality fabric for the sake of brand's name. I don't know about UK but 30k for a good suit is pretty cheap. and ofcourse made on order.

@@harryjaggardtravel the best thing is their fabric is best and they supply their fabric to global brands and big orders in billions from Europa US UK Australia by big clothing brands they provide finest fabric to their customers Iam living in UK I put orders from this brand for our customers here and we got no complaints so far on fabric I can say you got best price we’ll sell it here around 350 to 400 USD easily

Going to Lawrencepur INSIDE PC and assuming it will be cheap is definitely funny to meLOL(no offense) but I m saying this because you questioned that silevr ring in Karachi and assumed it should be cheap but did not try to look up the local price of Silver. Go to Panorama center, and you can get a suit for $30-$50 that is produced from fabric made here in Lahore and actually tons more to choose from in terms of style and color.
