You did the best you could. Pointers you don’t run with suits on😂. But previous comments covered it well. When the front ladies were asking all those questions the first thing to ask for is who the fitting is or was, the out looks more like a made to measure suit than a Bespoke, but not to worry, what you paid is also a made to measure costs as well, not a bespoke cost. Next time do more serious homework if you are going out of your way for a Bespoke garment. That’s serious business.

Thanks - to be honest I really didn't know what I was doing - first time ever getting fit for a suit. It was a great experience at a good price relative to the west - I'd love to learn more about the whole process and what to ask for. Thanks for the tips!

Wonder if this is owned by the same guys of Bangkok? the name is the same. They have a pretty bad rep overall. You don't seem the most experienced in getting your clothing tailored but you didn't do a proper fit check of your trousers and jacket by standing in a neutral stance and getting photos of front side and back. You didnt wear suitable shoes to ensure the pants are the right length or tuck in your shirt to check the fit of the waist. The staff also didnt take proactive steps to adjust the fit. The lapels are gaping at the front. I think you can probably get a better fit off the rack. When you make suits in Vietnam, you have to be very discerning to adjust the fit yourself as the Vietnamese style is to make things as tight as possible with narrow lapels. I had good success making stuff in Vietnam mostly trousers and shirts, they are rather poorly skilled at jackets.

You're completely right - I didn't know what I was doing - first experience getting anything tailored. From what I could tell - this store was independent.
