L3AF use the overdrive/tube screamer circuit to get that nice compression. i’m a fan of of the red setting. gain around 70%, mid around 60/70% bass to where you like it, i tend to back it off, treble same and boost around a quarter.

Is that your kitchen axe? I usually keep an axe for cutting down ribs and other more difficult parts, especially for smoked meats. I guess that's why the metal's gone a bit black.
The moments of you talking with your daughter are so funny and adorable. I don’t any idea what you’re saying, but I love seeing dads who genuinely enjoy being around their kids.
I love how he keeps glancing at the tasty food hoping there is a Gene Hoglan solo or something so he can bite, but Chucks voice of shred relentlessly continues
I used to have a good friend who played for me when i was at his place. He played also very well this track and a lot of others. This video reminds me those good times. Thanks
Not sure what you said to her but that was adorable. Not only did you not take off the guitar, I'm pretty sure you went full dad mode without even taking the pick out of your hand. Skillz!
She was saying she’s hungry and he was saying he was going to finish the song and when he’s done it’s food. And he gave her two bits of pasta. Obviously not a direct translation, but that’s about it.
I think the guitar you’re playing there is my favorite- Ever since I saw Ben Ash of Carcass play an Explorer on stage, I’ve loved that body style. Only I’d never get a Gibson.
this band always ha some of the best drummers. being able to switch tempos and rhythms on a run playing live like that must have been super tough for the whole band.
Watching Ola do Chuck S. Songs makes me appreciate his music even more. Chuck came up with some pretty cool riffs very melodic that's for sure RIP! Much respect Ola! You did a fine job sir!!!!!🤘
Gotta fucking love Ola "The Feeder Of The Young" you're so human and relatable not to mention a very talented producer of great content, and you have a great sense of humour. I really enjoy having my morning coffee and watching you Test SHIT or shred or talk about guitars ... for sure one of my fav youtubers of all time... I know this video is old and all but I hope you are loving the new house ... im going to listen to some DEATH now!!! du sparkar hela röven
The drums Gene laid down on this track is just crazy sounding. Coming from a guitar player so it may not be challenging but it sounds brutal. Love it Ola and I have an X-Type in my near future.
Hey Ola sweet sound, but I have a question will there ever be a 7 string model of the guitar used in this video I have always wanted a 7 string explorer and I love the solar guitars they have a great look, thanks for your content keep it up man!
i do the same thing ola..especially when my kids are watching cartoons and movies..i always like to play along to the music score in the toons...and of course harassing my wife when she is cooking..but i just have a long chord running to my yamaha thr10x,,this wireless katana looks like the way to go and it sounds good from what i can hear on my end of this video,,what a great idea for a practice amp..and well if your rocking the katana..i think i will too..have had the yamaha for many years now, since they came out and i think it is time to retire it to a young person that needs an amp and get me a katana...shout out from alaska..be well brother
Hello, I've chosen this song as first song I am going to learn on my guitar.. Your video helped me with certain parts :) Thank you and thanks for the great performance :) your tshirt rocks
I tried the boss katana 50 in the store last week and I couldn't get it to sound anything like Ola's tone or any of the other metal videos i saw where it sounded great. I wanted to get this amp since I'm getting back into playing this year but I don't want to waste money either.
You're not going to be able to get death metal tones from a Katana using just the panel. If you go into the amp with the Boss Tone Studio editing software, you can get as heavy as you want.
Hey ola , i have that exact same shirt ! I wanted to ask. Would you consider making a Liveset for the Boss Tone Studio for the katana .? Cheers from France !
Dear Mr.Englund, I don't usually use these emotions much, so this is a little difficult to say....that was cute. Thank you for thawing this cold, black heart of mine sir.
Ha ha ha this was an all around amazing video! Great parenting and great cover. I want a Solar V so bad!!!!! I’m working on it though! You are the best, Ola!
Hey Ola!! What's your favorite Sepultura album? What about recording a video getting Beneath The Remains/Arise guitar tone? Love your videos! Keep recording them.
Hey Ola. Concerning the BC Rich Stealth, I have the same guitar I got damn near 10 years ago (the Chuck Tribute), but it seems like mine is defective. The bridge isn't centered with the body, there is a slight curve that makes it slant more towards the body than it does being parallel to the pickups/neck. I'm just wondering of yours is the same. Thanks a bunch.
Creepy Jesus if I understand what you are saying you're saying that the bridge is angled down at the body. If that is the case that's a common problem with many wrap around stop tail bridges, just an inherent flaw in those designs
Grant Bowers I guess so. Adjustable wraparounds are a hit or miss. I know a bunch of guys who own a Stealth and only one has a perfectly working bridge. Stellar craftsmanship though.
Ola if you answer this I'll subscribe. Which amp do you like better the THR10X or Katana Air? From what I've seen I prefer the Yamaha tones. The BOSS seems like I'd spend more time trying to dial in tones if that makes sense. Yeah, bluetooth and wireless totally give the edge to the Katana, but as far as tones what do you think?
Thanks for the kind words guys. If you haven’t subscribed already now is the time... before we all die...
how do you get those amazin tones from the katana i have one but mine is no where near those perfect tones!
L3AF use the overdrive/tube screamer circuit to get that nice compression. i’m a fan of of the red setting. gain around 70%, mid around 60/70% bass to where you like it, i tend to back it off, treble same and boost around a quarter.
Red setting? i will try out what you wrote! :D
From your fingers.

An axe? Wouldn't a meatcleaver be a bit more handy?
BeardedDanishViking "Meatcleaver" would be a great name for a death metal band
I bet that name's taken already
The phrasing in this sentence is what i strive to be.
The moments of you talking with your daughter are so funny and adorable.
I don’t any idea what you’re saying, but I love seeing dads who genuinely enjoy being around their kids.

Hola Ola! I just saw the At the Gates perform here in the Philippines and I just realized they use Solar Guitars!! They sound GGRRREATT!!
You were at Summerslam as well? FUCK YEAH THEY SOUNDED AWESOME! Probably used Ola's tone patches as welll!
Looks like it !! Brutal sounds man!!
I am from Pinas too, a proud owner of Solar guitar.

Hey ola, what are the settings on your boss katana?

Camo shorts. International metal dude attire. Nice job Ola!
Death’s music always calms me down. So soothing🧘♂️
I am now going to go on Spotify and finally check Death out. Thanks Ola for this awesome video! This makes me really want that amp!
OMG...
I have that same exact paper towel dispenser.
You and I must be connected on some deep and special level.
This is my favourite version of all time!
Watching Ola do Chuck S. Songs makes me appreciate his music even more. Chuck came up with some pretty cool riffs very melodic that's for sure RIP! Much respect Ola! You did a fine job sir!!!!!🤘

Incredible, Ola! What mic did you use to capture this? The Katana Air sounds amazing!

Nice! i just started again listening carefully Death. after 20 years. Nice work on this art.
That little amp sounds bad ass!
I am thinking about buying a KATANA AIR.... Man, this amp is nuts.!!!!
Reminds me so much of my own home! Us metalheads are just a bunch of hardcore softies with families and kids and pink Ts and we all love Death!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
That Katana sounds beastly
Hello, I've chosen this song as first song I am going to learn on my guitar.. Your video helped me with certain parts :) Thank you and thanks for the great performance :) your tshirt rocks
It's refreshing to see, and hear a guitarist on UA-cam that isn't faking it.
Real skills in real time unlike many other fake ass cheaters

why do i like these more than the actual professional covers
The Katana Air is insane!
We need more cooking videos from you OLA!
Hey ola , i have that exact same shirt ! I wanted to ask.
Would you consider making a Liveset for the Boss Tone Studio for the katana .?
Cheers from France !
Hey, how are you playing your backing tracks? From phone ? What app ?
Cheers 👍
good stuff Ola
I would've been thrown out of the kitchen before the start of the first verse
We definitely need subtitles for the beginning conversation with your daughter!
Love these kitchen vids, with the inquisitive kids.
wow love that solar guitar!! i need one! come on OLA !!! cheers from Argentina!
I love that guitar. Ola is backing perseverance.
SYMBOLIC======= One of my top 5 metal albums of ALL TIME!!!
I love that t-shirt of yours, I have the exact same one but as a black hoodie. Keep up the good work.
Dear Mr.Englund,
I don't usually use these emotions much, so this is a little difficult to say....that was cute.
Thank you for thawing this cold, black heart of mine sir.
Very Impressive, great playing and tone ... and Great Parenting! Good Man! Respect.. Cheers! from Australia
Ha ha ha this was an all around amazing video! Great parenting and great cover. I want a Solar V so bad!!!!! I’m working on it though! You are the best, Ola!

Is this just using the Bluetooth to play the backing song from your phone??? Because if so... This so necessary
Evan Fife yes, it is the new BOSS Katana AIR amplifier; totally wireless set-up.
Good times \m/ \m/ that Boss sounds pretty good!

Awesome cover ola
Gotta take care the princess before 🤘papa Ola!!! Greetings from Watts, CA
That's a great cover....you're a great guitarist, great inventor (Solar Guitars are a greatest guitars) and GREAT MAN :D
Little do we know, that Ola isn't actually plugged into his Boss Katana but is getting those gnarly tones from his Smeg oven.
i love kitchen covers, please do more
Hi Ola, great job as always. Do you prefer Boss Katana or Yamaha THR10X for a room use... cannot use my Powerball I anymore :(
Amazing cover maestro
Well this sold me on this amp. Shit sounds so clean for a portable amp.
Really glad I found this channel. Your videos rule!
Welcome to the party
Good sound Ola!!!
sounds so great!
Great playing but Death just isn’t the same without hearing the drums and vocals clearly !!! I love that shit so much
Hey Ola!! What's your favorite Sepultura album? What about recording a video getting Beneath The Remains/Arise guitar tone? Love your videos! Keep recording them.

Try putting some type of washer between the posts and the bridge. I’ve seen several people fix these types of bridges using that technique
Almost every goddamn Stealth has got this issue
Ilian Petit I replaced my stealth bridge with a PRS adjustable stoptail bridge and it's so much better now
Grant Bowers I guess so.
Adjustable wraparounds are a hit or miss. I know a bunch of guys who own a Stealth and only one has a perfectly working bridge.
Stellar craftsmanship though.
Love the candid vids Ola (not that your others aren't already! :) )
5:16 when a riff repeats so many times u just get bored and start to play other things xD I feel you man
GB Productions it was just cause of the fade out
Awesome ..now tell Lost In Vegas to do some Death - Empty Word ;-)
Wow! Friggin awesome man!
That guitar looks sleek af! Well played \m/
Now that's what I call dedication.....practicing in the kitchen!
Hey Ola I noticed on one of your FAQs Dark Souls was on your monitor screen in the background. Who’s your favorite boss in the series?
This IS the cover video! Well done!
Killer! If I had a wireless amp I'd do the same for my kids. Inspiration to dad's everywhere!
I have the same amp and I love it so much
boss katana air deserves a deep review!!
this is how real father raises his child
This was the first song I learned from Death, from start to finish! Amazing album!!! \m/
The best one.
Hard to keep a metal face playing such a great tune while feeding your cute little girl. Awesome video, as always.
