    Might wanna add a pinned comment warning people not to send there mains at 3 thou, first video I’ve watched on your channel…. I went looking for the low oil pressure video after watching this

      It's up to each person to do their own research, this is merely a guide.
      Every engine and circumstance is different.
      But yes, there was a low oil pressure vid.

    I really like your attention to detail. I like the music, your editing, Keep it up, you have a big future on UA-cam. Question are you rehoning the bores, are you going to use ARP bolts, are you putting in stronger rods? Is it worth going for aftermarket cams? I love your block prep and how you did not just paint the Welsh plugs etc so it looks better than factory. If it was me I would probably get everything balanced if I changed the rods

      Reusing factory rods, crank and pistons, replaced rings and bearings etc so no need to balance etc,
      The cams were all cactus so I've ordered new ones from ford as its not worth it to me to go aftermarket as I need to pass emissions testing, i have head studs ready to go and the block was honed when machined aswell as decked and prepped :)

    Hey mate great vids, I've never put together the rotating assembly on a motor before but arent you supposed to oil only the crank side of the bearing and not the block side of the bearing? Keep the vids coming👌

    • @T.A.G
      @T.A.G  4 роки тому

      Crank definitely. I used assembly lube between crank and bearing, and I liked between the crank bearings and block aswell but it's not needed really. I did it more so to stop any rust while it waits to be filled and fitted to the vehicle :)
      Hope that makes sense

      @17:40 ypull see me putting the assembly lube on the bearings. They're already in the block and main caps

    Keep up the work on this awesome build. This has given me a lot of inspiration and has summed up what I need for my recently acquired BF Barra Engine turbo build. Cheers Man!

      @@T.A.G I've already tried golebys and they said they couldn't get any after market ones. What brand did you use?

    • @T.A.G
      @T.A.G  3 роки тому

      Use factory mate. Any local ford should be able to supply them

    Hey mate good vids, One question did you pull the oil galley plugs and oil pressure regulator valves from the block and clean the galleys. If so did you buy them genuine from ford?

    • @T.A.G
      @T.A.G  4 роки тому

      No mate. They were left I believe. Unless the machinist do it for me

  • @ColEllis

    This assembly process of the crank mains is wrong, no sealant was used on # 7 journal, highly likely will leak oil,

      @ColEllis haha, good spot, watch the rest of the build 🤣
