Gankino Horo means Gana's Dance. It is a native Bulgarian folk dance. The first cover arrangement is for accordion by Boris Karlov. There is an older cover for trumpet, from the 1930s, but I still haven't found who the composer is. In the traditional folk instruments it would be played as a consort of Gadulka violin, Gaida backpipe, Tambura, Kaval flute and Tapan drum. Boris Karlov - Gankino horo ua-cam.com/video/8P3Xubltb48/v-deo.html Probably the earliest arrangement for trumpet, from the 1930's ua-cam.com/video/bRy9N37OglU/v-deo.html
Yo soy balcánico, búlgaro para más señas y como tal sé algo de eso. Vuestra actuación es maravillosa. Alegra el corazón y hace que los pies se muevan solos. Que corra el vino, hermanos!!! Bravo por vuestra belleza
I am Bulgarian and had the privilege to visit Leipzig about 7 years ago. I was really impressed by the music culture of that city. This melody comes from the northern part of Bulgaria where I grew up. Thank you so much for your cover and I hope your video gets a lot of views. Gave you a like ^_^ Greetings ♥
Thank you so much for your comment! You are the first person we know who is exaxtly from the area where Gankino Horo origined. That‘s very interesting! If you want, we would like to know more about you and how you grew up with the bulgarian folk music. We really love it but it‘s hard for us to find information. If you like, dm us (email info@herjemine.de) or via instagram/facebook/our homepage. We are glad you know Leipzig and visited our lovely city!
Sehr gut hier eine weitere frühe Musik aus dem Balkan von einem alten Akkordeonspieler und Komponisten Angel Nancevski ua-cam.com/video/8L0UreasOFk/v-deo.html

Прекрасни сте!
Splendid!! Do you count it as 2+ 2+ 3+ 2+2 = 11/16 (not 11/8 because it is too fast)? And the drummers chime hits the 1 in every circle?
yes exactly!
LAS MALVINAS SON ARGENTINAS!
