I hope this video helped to answer some of your questions about what & how I pack! I've been traveling full time for almost 5 years now and this carry-on backpack is all I've ever used :)
Being a content creator and a minimalist doesn't usually go hand in hand but it can be done 🙌
I do have a smaller backpack that holds all of my camera and computer gear but I'll make a video on that soon.

@@minimallyn Vietnam was such a beautiful country! definitely has some different weather zones though! haha all I packed were bikinis and sundresses and ended up buying a parka at one of the night markets haha

if you ditch the packing cubes and get lighter weight items such as smaller goggles, smaller hairbrush etc you could drop a lot more space and bulk
or I could just get rid of everything and not even have a bag lol, I'm quite happy with everything I have.
Curious about the footwear, do you only have the boots with you? Do you go barefoot when not in the mood for boots then?
