Tbh the Hawks are lucky to have Geno rn. It’s hard to find a good level of QB in today’s nfl and for the price he’s playing at is an absolute bargain considering the market now after Goffs extension.

I hope so too. But if you’ve been watching the Last two seasons it’s been the defense that’s held us down. Genos played good enough to win a divisional or wildcard. Just depends on the defense.

@@DREADEYE_KNIGHT realistically though, there’s only like 3 real SB contending QB’s. Allen, mahomes, and maybe purdy? As crazy as it is to say purdy, but that teams good and he’s good. Burrow If he stays healthy, and Lamar gotta show it. Possibly stroud but still early.
I saw it in Geno in that Pittsburgh game in 2022 that he is a hot head and I love it ..he is a Commander!!! Eating at Geno's!!!

Did you guys never think of Geno as a hot-head??? My biggest impression of him was that he was a hot-head. Since he filled in for Russ, whenever something doesn't go right on field he seemed to lose his cool and get angry. I'm glad that he's looking cooler-headed in the last season, but I definitely still perceive Geno as a bit of a hot-head. Love the guy, love his success and I want him to do better, but I definitely see the anger issues - I struggle with similar stuff, just not at the same level of competition :D

Hawks have been my team for 40yrs, I come from the UK on a regular basis to see the team play home games , road games Wembley, Munich been to them all. Geno is not a leader in my opinion, a leader shines in adversity and drags his team with him, thats not Geno.. Pete spoke a load of garbage in his last few seasons and that was some of it...I think once Howell gets a chance he will take it and that will be that for Smith.Winning something like the "comeback player of the year" ? its soft and cuddly just like your grandmas slippers.....
