And this is why Sophie and David are so beloved of their subscribers - the genuine gratitude and appreciation when the present was bought out! Honestly, you cannot buy or fake integrity and class like that! Hope you both have a lovely Christmas! 🎄🥳🎀
I’m of two minds about Bicester Village. It can be quite hit or miss with inventory stock of odd sizes or trendy items and lack of classic items. If I recall the train ticket from London isn’t cheap and you feel compelled to buy something to make it worth the time and cost to get there. And now with COVID, definitely not going to queue outdoors in winter weather.
Great shopping vlog as usual …I love you and David’s shopping trips. They are my favourite. It was so nice to see your and David’s shock and gratitude for the presents you received unexpectedly 💕
Hey Sophie, love your helpful videos. On the subject of pronunciation; a little-known fact is that Moet is pronounced with the 't'. We all assume as it's a French company that the name is French but actually the name Moet is Dutch. Didn't know this either until a few months ago
Lovely video as always! Thanks for braving the cold and rain, it was nice to tag along with you and David. How generous of Bicester Village and Porsche to give you those thoughtful gifts. Happy Holidays to you both and the bunnies!
I wanted a Harrods Hamper just for the hamper, not the food, so I bought it on eBay. It arrived in perfect condition at a fraction of the cost of buying one from Harrods! I think employers are not honest about why they reject candidates because they are worried about being sued. The company can have a perfectly good reason for preferring A over B, but B will sue regardless, without even factoring in that their reasons are often highly subjective, which makes the lawsuit a greater possibility! Thank you for the video. Have an amazing week!
Christmas here is a great time for sure! I hope too that travel next year will be easier, it'd be lovely to experience another culture for a bit. Hugs to you my friend xx
You are always so appreciative and kind to everyone around you it's so refreshing! Hoping you and David have a wonderful holiday together with family and friends 🎄🍾🥳 xx
It’s like Sophie is my eye to her side of her world. 💖💖💖 Inasmuch as I love your review videos, Sophie, these shopping and shop-hopping videos are a mood of their own. Lovely! 🌸🌸🌸
Hey Sophie, I can’t believe you got the Christmas card already. I was expecting it to arrive sometime after the first of the year. Loved this video, looks like it was good fun even with the cold and rain.
Loved this vlog! Just went to Bicester (Designer Exchange and Gucci and a few other shops) on Black Friday and it was pure madness! Glad to see things have calmed down a bit there xx
Great vlog as always and very informative. After watching this video I feel like I have just done a trip to Bicester Village and back from the comfort of my home 🏡😊 Thank you! X
@16:38 I was pretty sure it’s pronounced Moh wet because Claude Moët is Dutch. The ë indicates that the e has to be pronounced as a separate syllable, because normally in Dutch oe is pronounced o as in to, who, do, in English. I’m still learning Dutch. 😅
In Russia back from the 90s we called Nike: [n’aik] and Adidas: [adid’as]. And then some time ago, like in 2010, from every corner I started hear that it is more correct to say [naiki] and [ad’idas].
Goodness, when I see plates of canapes` like that I always feel like taking the plate from the attendant. My husband always kept a close eye on me at functions 😂
Happy Holidays, Sophie! I'm your recent subscriber, but I enjoy your videos very much. I have purchased several LilySilk blouses from your last vlog. Cannot wait to receive them soon. They are so pretty :)
I loved this one!!! So happy you did the unboxing in the same video.. Usually everyone does two separate videos! It is sooo boring😂 Merry christmas, lovely Xx Lots of love from Norway!
I always enjoy your videos, you and David are so authentic. Btw, I am using an empty hamper basket to keep my garlic, onions, potatoes... Useful and stylish ;-)
I actually visited here this Saturday, I was abit surprised at how much less of certain items they had other times I visited. Stella McCartney had hardly any bags that where actually wearable and the amount of bags had reduced a lot. Prada was either hit or miss depending on what your taste was but nothing eye catching. Maybe it was the time I had chosen to go.
To the girl from HK. While you are applying for a full time job, try applying for contracting jobs or part time jobs. Contact some job agents as they should have contracting/ part time jobs on hand. Meanwhile, you may want to apply for some other jobs even if it’s unrelated to your field, just to show potential employers that you are proactive, eager to learn and hard working. Maybe apply for part time sales assistant jobs in boutiques, as this also shows you have good communication skills. Or take some college/ university courses. Do a diploma. This is the best time to advance your study/ interest. Good luck.
Damn it I buffered, but still early. Hi Sophie!!! Off to watch video now. Back again. Wish we had a Bicester like place here in NI. Really liked several of the bags you showed. My brother and his wife get to go to events and things like this with Maserati. Looking forward to your next video. Hugs Jill xx
Thank You, Sophie for Another Lovely Video! The Porshe Reception was Great, as was the Shopping afterward! I really Love the Event that Porshe put Together for you! That turned out to be Amazing, especially since you & David Sacrificed yourselves & Braved the Freezing Temps 🥶🥶 so that We, your Viewers, could sit back in our nice Warm & Cozy Homes & watch it! Too bad someone didn't serve Hot Toddies or Hot Chocolate to you along the way! ☕☕ But, as always, your Video turned out Brilliantly & it was Exciting to watch in spite of the fact that you played the "Secret Spy Girl" to get some of the shots! 🧣🧤👀🤳 😍🧥👀🤳 Hoping you & David d have a Wonderful Christmas! (Hope you go to Harrod's) My husband and & I will be watching! 🎄⛄🇺🇸
It's an outlet meaning off season not in season hence you won't get classics there....remember the top brands never discount classic or in season items. 😉
Hi Sophie! I feel the same way as you about the different pronunciations of Porsche, I've always said it without the "a" sound at the end. For what it's worth I'm American and know people who say it both ways, so it does seem to be a bit of a dialect thing.
I just wanted to politely add: Yes, the correct way of saying Porsche is with “ae” (=porshae), Nike is with “e” (=niky) and Adidas is Adi-Das (coming from Adi Dassler, brother of Rudolf Dassler/Puma). I know, as I am originally from Germany and also had business relationships in sports + with Nike USA. Concerning job interviews/reasons of rejection: Most people won’t tell you, but it’s quite often absolutely subjective! I was involved in several such decisions (hiring), and it was often something that didn’t even have anything to do with the person, like how much stress that day etc. If you (your followers) ever want more detailed information, I’d gladly share a couple things too! Best wishes to you & David!
Hi Sophie, You just gave me an idea… I’ll be moving to the UK soon therefore you should start expecting to receiving post that beseeches you to post your collection 😂😂😇😊
It’s actually pronounced Mo-ET. Yes, you pronounce the “t.” Moët was Dutch, (married Chandon’s daughter) and the Dutch pronounce the “t.” I learned this when I went to Epernay, France to visit the champagne houses there.
It is pronounced as “Porscha” because it’s a German company and the e in German is pronounced as an a. Similar to the name Anne - in German sounds like Anna but spelled as Anne.
I love that you guys are so appreciative of the workers at events and in shoppes. It speaks to your and David’s characters.
Literally the reason I love her so much 😍😍 Such a well rounded person who you know is soo genuine
And this is why Sophie and David are so beloved of their subscribers - the genuine gratitude and appreciation when the present was bought out! Honestly, you cannot buy or fake integrity and class like that! Hope you both have a lovely Christmas! 🎄🥳🎀
You guys are some of the nicest people I have seen in my 57 years .Have a wonderful Winter. ❤
Sophie you are such a gem… Your spirit is what the world needs right now especially in the luxury world

Yes, tickets are almost £30 , it used to be much cheaper!
I always find something g to buy, but do I need it? That's the question!
Great shopping vlog as usual …I love you and David’s shopping trips. They are my favourite. It was so nice to see your and David’s shock and gratitude for the presents you received unexpectedly 💕

You are actually correct, it is "PorschE" with a short "e" at the end.
Hi Sophie! Do you know when the Chanel seasons release?
Always lovely videos. Thank you Sophie
Hi Sophie, can you tell us your opinion on Estee Lauder products? I'd like to try some of them, but I would have an honest opinion 😘
It's an outlet meaning off season not in season hence you won't get classics there....remember the top brands never discount classic or in season items. 😉
Fun shopping!
I need that pillow
Yes Sophie from an Aussie I say Porche without the a 🤣
TIPOFF aspinal of london is having a MASSIVE sale because it's closing all its physical locations

Does anyone know what boots is sophie wearing on the thumbnail? Thank you!

😉🤣🤣🤣
Really love your car and shopping vids.🥰
How much was the YSL Cassandra bag x
Nike is named after the greek goddess for victory, so is pronounced Nike-y. In the way that you'd pronounce Persephone, Daphne etc.
I just wanted to politely add:

Bicester Village looks fantastic.
Hi Sophie,
You just gave me an idea… I’ll be moving to the UK soon therefore you should start expecting to receiving post that beseeches you to post your collection 😂😂😇😊
Great video 😊❤️
In the US we call it a picnic basket not a hamper. Our hamper is the thing you put your dirty laundry in! We also say Moët like MO-ETT not MO-AY. 😊
It would be interesting to hear ur opinion/review of a watch; what brand do you prefer? 🌟
Were those Burberry banner bags I saw? Those have been discontinued for a long time I think.
They really have current pieces at YSL.
Porsche is German and in German you would pronounce the brand, Porsch uh. You pronounce the E at the end.
Here in the US a hamper is a bin to store dirty clothes. I think we would call what you call a hamper a picnic basket. Love the Britishism
And a bin here is a trash can.
It’s actually pronounced Mo-ET. Yes, you pronounce the “t.” Moët was Dutch, (married Chandon’s daughter) and the Dutch pronounce the “t.” I learned this when I went to Epernay, France to visit the champagne houses there.
