People who think that car engine doesn't matter go for creta or seltos.. VW is known for reliable turbo engines while hyundai is known for reliable NA engines..

@@JatinGupta28-007 ac problem is solved with software update and comes fixed in new cars.. if a car has really good control you love driving it.. after someone has owned a vw car it's almost impossible for him to switch to other brands.. they will launch adas by june.. well creta has just come now with adas.. even though xuv 700 had for two years.. if you drive a well controlled car you can avoid accidents too.. normally in families where the husband and wife both drive they like vw.. if only husband drives then they go for feature rich car.. if you want to buy a car based on what your neighbour is buying .. you are buying it for showoff rather then for actually using it. Most VW owners are not into showoffs so they buy a car which is best for them and not to show to other people.
@@shobhitsaini86 bro i am not against vw skoda cars infact it is in my consideration since long bcoz in love the mechanical part of the car i e driving dynamics but when i was about to finalize the car when i showed the car to my family they were like ac is not cooling seats are not comfortable interiors doesn't look plush. I agree if in a family where only husband and wife are there or any young lad want a enthusiastic car for self and they just want a drivers car nothing else no fancy stuff vw and skoda are best for them but the fact is when u decide a car and take all the factors into consideration and also take a family opinion then cars like creta and seltos seems more practical to buy. Vw and skoda should improve the seating comfort and try to make the interiors more plush also need to include features like 360 camera and also need to refine certain features like ventilated seats so that it becomes a great family car. I too want to own a vw skoda car but the way i see a car and the way my family see it makes the decision difficult and that's why a consumer choose an overall package where every person's needs are satisfied. No one can deny that the korean cabins feel much premium and when someone buys a car costing 20+ lacs they definitely want some premium feel. Its not about making the neighbours jealous or something it's about fulfilling the needs of each family member. Abhi i own a 3rd gen Honda city which is gem of a car but now feels old that's why wanted to upgrade to a family car with much more features and great premium feel. I experienced more than 15 cars in the market I didn't felt any of the car in terms of driving runs better than skoda and vw but i must admit as an overall package hyundai seems much superior.

If you want to modify your car base to top model then go with creta but agar Modify nahi karwana aur kum chalni hai car to astor base very good package
you can also check for punch ev long range.. no worry for odd-even or old petrol vechiles ban in diwali time after some years.. and will be cost effective.

@@AJAYSINGH-iv9gt astor base model doesn't have any power.. you will feel driving an i10 most of the times.. you can consider kausaq 1.0 too.. can take test drive.. but for city traffic.. consider a hybrid car like grand vitara or similar.. you will get mileage of around 15-17 in city.. but i guess you budget won't allow.. i have stayed in dwarka and gone to gurgoan most cars give very less mileage.. but ya with drawka expressway things will be much better.. but you willl drive in delhi too.. most cars will give mileage of 9-11 in delhi city.. also petrol prices increase by 5% every year.. so by next 5 years petrol will cost around Rs 130-140 per liter..

My daily commute primarily consists of approximately 80km within city limits, and I go on highway drives around 8-10 times a year. Safety and mileage are top priorities for me.
After evaluating various options, I've narrowed down my choices to these two cars. However, I'm facing a dilemma. With my budget, I can afford the Top CVT model of the Elevate, while with the Creta, I can only get the 2nd top model. Although the Elevate lacks some features offered by the Creta, Honda is renowned for its engine performance and reliability.
Moreover, I plan to keep this car for more than 10 years, so factors such as service cost and spare parts availability are crucial considerations for my decision. Additionally, I'm concerned about the potential discontinuation of the Elevate model by Honda, similar to what happened with the WRV and BRV models, and how it would impact service and parts availability in the long term.

If you go by UA-cam comments no one can beat VW/skoda but In real life scenario kushaq+taigun combined 5 month sales= 1 month sales of creta. That's an utterly wrong perception that people only go after features and those cars are tin can etc etc. people are intelligent enough to understand which one is more VFM. (By the way Verna also scored a 5* safety rating and on any day creta comes with that resulted in more reduction in sales of VW/SKODA
@@abhishekjain3213 see you have to understand the psychology.. well vw only started manufacturing cars in India in 2020.. so they are late.. before that they were assembling and selling cars.. so those cars like polo or vento were expensive to maintain and had high service costs. So people perception is that their service cost or maintenance cost is still high.. also when someone buys a car 70% of the cases he/she has driven or sat on that car or it's previous model before.. so creta which is manufactured since 2011 has more units and more people experienced it. Now problem is that if someone drives a vw/skoda car from a friend or something.. he doesn't like other cars even in test drives.. so he is forced to go for vw/skoda.. in past many people avoided it considering high maintenance costs but now people are learning it has reduced service and maintenance costs by half so those are buying it as there is no other option in this category for such driving dynamics. Also many people are not sure about petrol turbo engines and have not tried them.. and they think petrol engines are less powerful then diesels so creta diesel still gets a lots of sales although mileage between two is not a big difference now.

Honda Elevate is a handsome car and no frills. As they said, the suspension is stiff.
I felt that for an elegant car, it should've had softer suspension and definitely should've had an insulated cabin. It's quite loud in cabin which feels down market.

बिल्कुल सही कहा भाई. आज ही मैंने अपनी सोनेट आईएमटी टर्बो का भोपाल सिटी के अंदर 17 का माइलेज निकला है जैसा आपने बताया वैसे ही गाड़ी चलाई आरपीएम 2000 के नीचे रखा और चूंकि मौसम ठंडा था इसलिए AC नहीं चलाया था. लॉन्ग रूट में तो WITHOUT AC 25 तक का माइलेज निकला है दो लोगों के साथ और with AC 18 से 20 तक निकला है

well 22lakhs you will get featureless model for both XUV 700 or jeep compass.. if you can increase budget to around 25.. also jeep compass and virtus gt ground clearance is same.. so you can get virtus gt dsg top model for the price.. if you still want an suv .. then scorpio n will give more features for that budget.. also scorpio is RWD while both compass and XUV 700 are FWD. RWD cars are better suited for Suv frames and give better power and stability. XUV 700 has AWD for that but it is very expensive. Also you will be able to find a 4x4 scorpio for that budget.

@@badgotra.manoj47 well jeep sales are so low nowadays that it is difficult to recommend such car.. espically if you are not living in a metro city, well they will launch a car at Rs 13 lakh range in 2025 maybe.. but if that also fails then Jeep may exit indian market altogether..most usa brands already left india due to low sales.. and then you may also not get a resale value.. if you are Jeep compass like cars.. also test drive Taigun or kausaq 1.5 Dsg models... although automatic and petrol.. they provide good mileage due to ACT technology only available with VW.. and should have enough power for your needs.. if you can afford XUV 700 AWD then that is the best bet.. you can also consider top model for seltos with Adas... turbo petrol but mileage will be low as it doesn't have ACT like the VW twins. As a option test drive MG Hector Sharp Pro 2.0 Turbo Diesel too...

why not go for taigun or kausaq 1.5 engines( they have 2 cylinder deactivation) so give mileage of around 18-20 on highway .. 20-25% more then any other petrol turbo due to ACT technology. with amazing torque.. xuv 700 mileage is like 5-7 in city and 10-11 on highway.. while seltos is around 14-15 on highway..

@@cartaalap well you are first one to say that.. my office collegues gives him 15-16 at that speed.. even on online youtube reviews no one got that.. well i get 17-19 at speeds around 100+ while overtaking most cars i find on highway .. so seltos you have to run like a maruti alto to get good mileage.. even seltos diesel gives around 20-22 at 90 kmph..

creta aur seltos panaromic sunroof ki vagah se bikti hai.. engine wise VW twins main better hai.. aur vw main diesel nahi aata.. so 50% drop in sales waha se aata hai.. sunroof esa feature hai car ka jo purchase k 1-2 mahine use hota hai.. phir koi dyan nahi deta ki sunroof hai ki nahi.. bas 10 logo ko showoff karne k kaam aati hai.. main cheez engine hota hai.. jo vw main better hai.. as vw has better turbo engines in the world.. ese hi nahi turbo engines main no.1 is VW.. and in turbo technology hyundai still lags ... and stands nowhere in global market..
