    Nice . I could understand better. Thanks. I want to know what should be the value of h1 maintained so that siphon works till the tank is emptied. I shall be thankful if you explain this.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong, but to start a siphon, I have to remove the air from the tube where the water is going to come out, correct? Is that because you want to create a lower pressure along the tube?

    How can you apply Bernoulli equation at Po as it is no steady flow at that point it's in hydrostatic condition

    • @physicsdomain8548
      @physicsdomain8548  6 років тому

      Basically Bernoulli equation is a form of conservation of energy for liquids. So it is always applicabe unless there is a non conservative force.

      Physics Domain it's applicable on same streamline it is in assumption , if you draw streamline there is difference .

    • @physicsdomain8548
      @physicsdomain8548  4 роки тому +1

      First of all thanks for watching the video.
      Here is your answer-
      As h1+h2=(p0-p4)/pg
      =p0/pg -p4/pg
      Since, p4>=0
      Therefore, (p0/pg)-(p4/pg)
