Gorilla dads are among the best fathers in the animal kingdom not only do they have to protect their entire family group from predators and rivals but they also have to take time to interact with their family such as when they play with their young shown in this scene which requires them to apply a tremendous amount of restraint because a fully grown male gorilla can easily bench press 500 lbs yet they can treat their babies with such a delicate nature all while being on the lookout for potential threats if that doesn’t sound impressive then I don’t know what is.
I love this Silverback, the patience he has for these 2 hyper babies. So beautiful to watch, what a wonderful dad he is.
