Supply house in my area no longer sell Tracpipe Counterstike due to getting sued for lighting still having issues with it.
If you use the auto flare fittings then you have to tape with the vynil tape... my question is does that tape continue to protect the csst from lightning strikes? If not does the csst need to be bonded at that point?

I am plumber ,I am wandering how much we should tight those,and how about supporting vertical or horizontal an what kind nails Plat we should use for that , our inspection fails couple of time for not proper nail plate we used full striker and half striker

I was wondering if after cutting Trac-pipe and thghtning Auto-snap fitting fitting can you take it apart and reuse the fitting again?
I’m so disappointed I had like 5 leaks today on my job it’s a very straightforward process and followed the instructions I don’t know what the problem is but ugh very frustrating
Make the cut off the roll first a little long. Than make the cut where you want it. The key is a good cut with no burrs.

What's the minimum number of channels to cut the insulation back if you're using the auto-flare fittings? Looks like it's cut back a good 1"- 1 1/2".
