110Km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road Ibadan Construction Update /Ibadan Circular Road Project

The 110km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road in Ibadan consists of four sections; the south east (32.2km), Notth-East (20.8km), Northwest (33 km) and south west (24 km) wings which will provide a bye-pass for travelers, goods and freight commuting through Ibadan along the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway linking the highway to Ibadan-Ife Expressway and Oyo-Ogbomoso-Ilorin Expressway. Geographically situated within Ibadan metropolis with links to Egbeda, Ona-Ara, Lagelu, Akinyele, Ido and Oluyole local government areas.
This means travellers coming from Lagos going to other states like Osun, Ondo, Ekiti and others would no longer pass through Ibadan Iwo Road axis, but will rather boycott the entire Iwo Road traffic congestion by passing through the state owned Technical University along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway and come out few Kilometres to Asejire Bridge on Ibadan/Ife road.
The 110 km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road which is designed to encircle the entirety of Ibadan will strategically link the Ibadan-Ife Expressway, the Moniya Train Station, Ibadan Inland Dry Port, the proposed Oluyole Free Trade Zone and different parts of the Ibadan Metropolis. The Circular Road will also ease the flow of traffic in strategic locations in the metropolis as well as drive more development in Oyo State.
