The whole system with the bikes and the docking stations is from Canada and was developed for the city of Montreal. It's now sold and licenced around the world. In the U.S., it's operated by a company that was partly bought by Lyft but the bikes and the system are from Montreal. We use the same bikes and the same docks here. Even the app is very similar. We have electric ones around here now. It makes it much easier to climb hills.
Well done vid no pretentious bullshit or overindulgent editing frills. THANK YOU! This makes me wanna take a blue bike out before the real winter chill rolls in.
The review on the Bluebike 👍 except for speed. If you're ever interested. You can bike NYC. Like all of it. Manhattan. Brooklyn. Queens. The Bronx. Jersey City. Hoboken. There are bike stations all over the map. Traveling in a group is safest.❤
Very nicely done! I know someone who did the Concord Ave climb out from the Belmont station on a Blue Bike. Not sure how that compares to Summit Hill as I have not been up that high. Mt Wachusett is accessible via one of the commuter rail rides, and I've taken the train out and then climbed it... But with a Blue Bike you're going to have a lot of penalties, might want to see if they would collaborate. Also, not sure about the brakes coming down.
I rented one of these in Chicago. They were so heavy I thought they were e-bikes. I rode really far thinking I could use assistance on the way back. Then I realized it wasn’t one 😂 was that a hard ride back 😂😂😂
You managed to pick the newest model of bike, I only started noticing them ariund a few weeks ago, the gear shifting sticker is different from the old ones. Awesome video 👍
It depends on where you are. In major US cities you can usually find good results by Googling "Bikes paths in ____". For this ride I used the Ride with GPS Route Builder. It will take you on quieter roads with less traffic and good bike infrastructure. People at your local bike shop are also great! Finally I steal a lot of routes from people on Strava.com
BlueBike sponsor this man
Please!
Easily the best video I’ve watched all week. This is inspiring !
Super impressed you climbed Summit Ave on a Blue Bike. Kudos 👍🏼

Super cool! I just found the Wikis for PBSC and Motivate
Love using these in NYC, especially when the EBikes are available! Our bikes run through Lyft.

Best Bluebikes ad of all time. Good job on the video!
Wow, thanks!
Lynn woods has a lot of mountain biking in the middle of it. It's a great place to walk the dog and much less crowded than breakheart
You make great videos !

Is that the ones with the softer saddles? I ran into one of those recently, big improvement.
@@WrecklessSandwich not sure, I just really notice a deference with the gears

= +1 so I’d call that a good day
You should take the train down to providence and try those bikes
Do BCycle in madison! The city runs it and designs the app. You could do the lake loop like 10 times to reach 100 miles on those lol
passing cars on a blue bike >>>
Great vid
I’m a Canadian. I tried to like Dunkin. I couldn’t. 😢

I have to disagree with you about the bikes being well-designed, but that's an opinion from the perspective of having to wrench on them regularly 😆
Is the bike electric ?
