Kicking Airstreams a** one day at a time 👏
The washing machine was the star for me.
It's impressive to see how quickly the B-Box concept has matured and expanded. Keep bringing us videos of new variants.
I chuckled at the "live bat trees" sign. I love the seperate bath and toilet areas. Such a functional, nice van. Well done!
I love the extra seats!
More B box videos please! I love this form factor and want to see what other configurations folks have come up with.
This is my favourite RV ever
Only one other company is able to achieve this level of detail and quality..congrats
You gotta batch for those live batt trees 🤣.
The word the lady was trying to think of for the fabric with the ‘grain’ is ‘nap’. Suede, velvet, several other types of fabric have that. Anything that you can brush your hand in one direction and leave a trail in the fibre.
That B box turned out fantastic. You all must be very proud of it.
Mr Astroid has designed my perfect van. I want to add a miele washer/dryer (does not need to vent out side) and a dishwasher. This unit is just amazing!!!
Yes! Mini dishwasher could store dishes & cutlery even when clean.
@@source5729 exactly - I am not going on vacation to hand wash dishes. Fisher Paykel uses a couple of gallons of water.
Absolutely ridiculous to have a dishwasher in a van, good grief! Get your lily white hands dirty with some dishwashing for once. Should you forgo having a shower because you are on vacation too? It might take away from precious vacation time!
As for the standard washer/ dryers made for residential use - another ridiculous request. Some of them have a concrete collar to reduce vibrations and you lug that weight around which further reduces your cargo carrying capacity when being mobile. Furthermore, many non venting machines like the LG Direct washer/dryer combo have very serious design flaws - there is no way to remove the lint build up inside which cripples it in no time. I took one apart - did major surgery on it to find the link section and still could not access it. As deeply buried as an appendix in your bowels. There are perfectly good little manual machines that are tiny and light to wash and spin dry. Hang up your clothes after that. Don't expect a van to have house functionality or you sacrifice compact size, gas, and cargo weight.
@@mjremy2605 yup - I want a dishwasher- it uses 2.5 gallons per load and will keep my Lilly White Hands a beautiful shade of brown.
@@mjremy2605 BTW: You certainly have a lot of opinions. You might consider doing op-Ed’s for your local media source.
Mike, each build I say yes this is the one for me. Then you build this rig WOW. The owner's design is amazing and of course you guys knocked it out of the ballpark putting it all together for him. A true family rig. Love the separate bathrooms the dining table is a work of art. The garage space is HUGE. YES YES YES 👍 👍 👍
Fantastic! I love the long form videos the best!!!! Great design. I am sure this family will enjoy this for many years to come!
Awesome!! Being able to downsize with and keep a fixed bed, separate lavatory and shower, and still have my Slpendide washer dryer combo!! Incredible.
I love the pop up sleeping area. Great use of space.
An amazing collaboration and handsome, finished product. Thank you for sharing!
As always advanced RV have built an amazing home from home. One day I will hopefully have a B box of my own here in the U.K.
It's nice to see Cleveland in the video, my old stomping ground from 30 years past. I've been following ARV since 2016 and I plan to become a b-box client in about 8 or 9 years. It's a superb product that offers endless design and layout options. Well done!
That is a super impressive van. Fantastic build quality and that stainless steel galley..... Makes my Revel look like a piece of garbage. LOL.
Stainless steel is cold looking compared to any other material and has a commercial kitchen vibe
I love this. When my wife and I are ready to take the plunge in RV-ing, we will definitely be in touch. This would be very close to perfect for us.
Absolutely stunning. Well done ARV and to the owner/designer.
My dream build would be something like this but minus the pop-top. I would add an incinerator toilet (powered by propane like the TinyJohn or the Cinderella). The propane would be standard 20-gal tanks that can be refilled almost anywhere (like the Winnebago Ekko) and would be used only for the incinerator toilet and possibly an outside grill. This way, there would be no black tanks and more room for fresh water.
I have been trying to do this talking it over with other people I say I was crazy to think of an ideal way of doing this and I love the way you all have constructed and put it together wish it was cheaper I chill with 51 if I could afford it and I pray one day I can buy one at 12 I can drive into the inner city where big RVs are not allowed thank you for making this one day I shall have one I pray
Great job the attention to detail and it's functionality are 2nd to none.
Absolutely stunning- you hit it out of the park once again, Advanced RV
My favorite so far ! Well done.
This is exactly what I want! Love it!
While it is certainly beyond my budget, this is one of the best thought out and engineered RVs I've ever seen.
That’s my favourite advanced RV van. Being in the UK we love the B Box style van and Advanced RV make the best B Box style van.
Absolutely perfect! Wonderful solution!
Well done! -Amazing! ☺
Amazing Van!
Fantastic!😍
This is beyond all my dreams! Wow!
Mike, What is the cost of this? I am thinking this is it! 🥰🙏
Awesome…. ❤️ it well designed and built, obviously lots of thoughts went into it
Just WOW!!! Again, the Class A of Class B-Box!!! Well done Team ARV!!
Amazing and impressive. An engineering tour de force.
Stunning design. So love the kitchen area with all the counter top space
This build is perfect!!!
Awesome design and fantastic fit and finish! Hope to own one someday. 🙂
Amazing!
This absolutely is a nice design and the engineering in it is amazing
Stunning
Incredible!
Nice work!
Wow! Just beautiful. I am always impressed with the quality workmanship, attention to detail and innovation!
Loved it!
Another amazing van from ARV. Now if I could just afford one. Don't get me wrong, I know they are worth the price with all the design, engineering, innovation and over the top attention to detail. Keep these videos coming.
Been watching their videos for a while now, and I'm always impressed with the talent and professionalism of *Advanced RV.*
When my wife and I are ready, *Advanced RV* is who we're going to see about our new home away from home. 🤍
Me too! I've been waiting many years and prefer ARV over the others! ☺
Bring wheelbarrows of cash
wow, such an awesome rig! looks great and functional. Wish I could afford something like that and take my Travel show on the road. maybe someday. great job. Love the shape and size of the box.
The van of my dream.
This build is stunning. There seems to be a problem with van builders and building vans to seat 3-4 and sleep 3-4 comfortably. For years I've always said, I can't pay close to 390,000 to 500,000 for van when my daughter has to sleep uncomfortable. I would absolutely steal this plan layout for my family. I would only add functional exterior esthetics like a robust front bumper, winch, and two boxes in the back that swing around and allow the back garage access doors to open freely. the only reason is I would need more storage; maybe a ladder and a small light aluminum roof rack over the pop top so when im not carrying passengers that need sleeping I can use the top as storage safely. also I love that this man opted for a washer dryer....thats BOSS STATUS in a van box that size.👌🏼
How many nights at a nice hotel or resort could you get for $390,000 - $500,000? Half a million dollars to rough it is really steep. Imagine how much this unit will depreciate over a short period of time too. I just love Sprinter vans but the cost of some of these professionally made units is prohibitive.
@@amywalker7515 lets take the higher price, 500 000usd.... two rooms (4 poeple, lets say at 3000usd in total per night, we are in the nice hotel or resort after all) then its good for 166 nights. so not that much. if you use your RV for 40 days/night per year, its a little more than 4 years of "nice hotels or resorts"...
Amazing design
I've watched many van builds and have been waiting for this, a comfortable, relatively compact unit with sleeping for four, separately. Maybe it's a little out of my price bracket right now, it is obviously very well-made. Way to go Advanced RV team! Is it also available in 4x4?
So nice
Awesome .. excellent!
Cottage on wheels. Well designed.
Pretty much perfect. As I don’t have kids, I could remove the middle passenger seats and replace it with more shelves, or a small “living room” or library and entertainment area. Love the shower/bathroom/toilet/sink/kitchen/washer/dryer. Well insulated too. Nicely done.
super nice layout even if you don't need the pop top bed with ladder the seat with table is nice
I'm curious why he mentions it being 'stealth'. It's a Class C RV, that's going to be obvious to even the most casual observer.
Yeah, that puzzled me as well ?
It's stealth in regards to it having an absence of dumb RV graphics plastered all over it. It looks like it could be a specialized work van, not an RV per say.
👌🏼 Wow ~ Really nice. The stainless steel countertops & sink look so nice. That washer/dryer is AWESOME. How many batteries? How about trying 1 of those incinerating toilets in the next 1? Or try cutting the entire back-end panel out to lay down like a “patio?” A rooftop deck would be appreciated too (just ideas 🤷🏼♀️👍🏼)
Nice 👍
wow. This is the perfect design!!! Unfortunately, we do not see more of these type of bodies in States, but B-Box is an amazing built. Once you make it a bit overlandish, I will be your next customer, or maybe one day I will just walk in to build one together :)))
Very nice 👌
Rialta has safe seating for 4 also 🙂
As does the Storyteller overland and Ekko.
Yup... Very nice piece of art. It would be complete and better, if it had a lateral "Slide Up" in the bed area, for whom we are "Too Tall".
My dream van.
Nicely done. Congrats to the whole ARV team. My wife and I visited your factory when you were just starting on your first B-Box, so it is great to see the progress and know that you are now working on a number of these units. With the extended chassis, what is the length of this particular unit and/or what do you feel the maximum length of a B-Box could be?
I just tweeted you about a b box with a extension of 180 but 4x4 again from French Polynesia thank you god bless you all
Go Browns!
Did I hear “…room for 4 auto assist bikes”? It would be great to see how these fit and are accessed.
Advanced RV: look at the 8” kitchen aid microwave. It can exhaust inside or outside and allows you to install a large cabinet above. It works extremely well. The size is deceiving. It can microwave just about anything. Costco has one at a great price if you want to order one to fool around with.
this is what i want! i was looking at getting the Winnebago ekko, but the larger one that I like i don't think they are making anymore.
TBH, the EKKO looks like junk inside compared to this. I'm sure there is a sizeable difference in price too, but if you can afford the best...
Beautiful rig only i would have chosen one of these if it had a murphy bed at the back to open up another room.
Great quality and design as always. Wonder how many times you've installed that pop top. Need to keep an eye on the bolts on those scissor hinges, they tend to come loose.
ok love the layout. what is the occc. be nice to know how much weight i could put in it.
If y'all ever switch from custom to spec rv's , keep this floorplan in your repertoire.
A Revel size garage would have been great for MX bikes.
Imagine how much more room they would have if they had used a murphy bed for the rear bed and perhaps a ceiling bed or murphy bed to come down over where the kids sit behind the driver's seat. The kids have no place to go but sit in their seats. they could have put a desk or entertainment area where the rear bed is and storage under those passenger seats. If you want to see true efficiency, watch some of the home made RV videos where they squeeze an incredible amount of utility out of a tiny space.
Everyone's a critic.
This in a Ford Transit AWD EcoBoost 3500 chassis would be ideal. No pup-up tho.
Superb!👍 if I had the money and lived in the United state; I will order the exact same one. It has everything I am wanted in an RV.
Have you ever had any order for the Australian market? If not, would you consider it? Or would you recommend a company that already exist in Australia?
Amazing, but PLEASE make one on a truck like an earth roamer!
Hi there. very good design and quality indeed. but in my point of view, this kind of a van or motorhome really deserves KCT Hard Glass type of windows. What do you guys think? Best Regards....
All this for only $85,000? Stunning!
Probably more like $385K.
Or $485k
The Ekko is $200k you think this one is that much more? Sure it’s custom but 485k??
@@AnthonyWebb7 Yes absolutely. Last year, Mike said the median price for their vans was $380K and the B-box are about the same. With the cost of everything rising since then, I wouldn't be surprised to hear $485K. ARV is not for price shoppers.
@@AnthonyWebb7 their battery system is probably 80K alone. Their recirculating water saving shower system is also about 60-80K, I would guess. They have hydronic using throughout the floors and around the tanks at least 30K for just that. The air conditioner with fresh air exchange and heat pump is probably 20k. Watch the video on the first B box for those details. It’s a lot of specialized skilled workers that do these builds, not some kid kicking out vans from his garage. And this company is one of the few companies that are an authorized Mercedes up-fitter, which means that Mercedes will honor any warranted parts on the chassis; many people get burned when they find out that their conversion van may have voided the warranty if it’s not done by an authorized up-fitter. It’s extremely difficult to get that authorized up-fitter status. FYI.
For off-road one needs a swing a-way like Owl spare h/duty spare tire, and also swing a-away two mountain bike holder. Prefer the rear large gas-assisted door /platform, using the rear bed to sit to face outside onto the tailgate. I like the air suspension with Fox shock absorbers and the 4 hydraulic establishers on uneven ground. I am then a real buyer for two units
Can this be made and purchased in the Ford model?
I wonder what RH conversations, export/import costs, etc be for getting one to Australia
If the inside or outside walls get damaged into the foam core is there a way to fix that hole? Does the fix now stand out? I would think the walls can be painted?
This maybe an excellent unit to build as a spec, bringing the costs down as a result. Lots of folks with kids who are recreational campers may go for this, given the quality, finish, and comfort. My preference would be to start with this and beef up the offroad capabilities such as adding front and rear winches, better ability to ford water, brush guards, and enhanced security. The work Advanced RV does is incredible. Should I go for a B class you'd be my first call.
yeah, but even if they brought the price down 20%, it would still cost more than the homes that most people with kids live in. There simply aren't that many people, especially with kids, that can afford over $300,000 for an RV.
@@kcgunesq Agreed. Like most expensive things in life, only folks with a fair bit of funds could afford. Custom work like is labour intensive and American labour costs are high.
I really like this model, I would make a few tiny modifications but this is exactly what I'm looking for. Is it possible to have this same exact thing made for me? What would the price range be and how long would it take to make?
Probably $200k and a 2 year wait list?
@@OMGWTFLOLSMH That's rough for an impatient poor peasant.
Would this also work on an electric Sprinter van? Could you incorporate some solar panels? Great design!
It would work fine, if you were satisfied with a 100 mile range. No thanks.
Does the pop top have HVAC when it’s occupied?
I guess not.
Is the B Box body made like a cool room structure? Insulated from the harsh weather from outside but can keep the temperature stabilise inside. 👍
Astroid of Happiness appears to be a good bit larger than the first prototype B Box. I’d be interested to know it’s complete all around dimensions. And, further, about how long and how wide could a B Box be?
❤❤❤❣
Mike were you able to make this b box without a step from the cab area?
Wait wait wait... A washing machine... In a class B size? Has that ever been done before?
My B box in the U.K. has a full-size washing machine. Can go outdoors with the kids, wash and heater air dry clothing in the vented shower room.
I put it where the oven would normally go; I have induction hob and microwave (micro, grill, oven) so have no use for a traditional oven.
I use a separate recirculating water system that eventually drains to the grey tank.
Yes, it has been done before.
You can actually cook in that van, nice. What took you guys so long?
Great build! Can you tell me the R value of the box wall, floor and ceiling?
Yep, at fourteen minutes and sixteen seconds in.
@@n.lyndley.9889What materials are used to achieve an insulating R value of 14.16?
@@peterfodor9789 they meant the R value is mentioned at 14:16 time stamp. I believe it’s around R13.
Amazing, yet, I’m curious to know how much weight the whole build goes for and how much payload is available. It seems to me that this build is asking a lot from the VS30 Sprinte platform.
Can you guys get a 25 or 30 foot long box
Awesome b box! Are you guys able to make a b box 4x4?
The chassis cab is available as a 4x4, I don’t see any reason why not as the 2wd has all the same rear drivetrain components.
Looks like the space shuttle. I’ll get 2.
