The benefits of oregano oil support digestion as well as all essential fatty acids.
The specific action of oregano is based on the essential oils it contains, carvacrol and thymol. Several scientific studies have demonstrated its excellent effectiveness in the prevention against pathogenic bacteria such as coccidia, hexamites, mycoplasma, E. coli, salmonella, staphylococci, streptococci, chlamydia and coryneform bacteria as well as against capillary worms and roundworms and different types of fungi like aspergillus, candida, and actinomycetes.
Only with food: Directions for use: Add 2 x per week 5 ml oregano oil to 1 kg of food.

If it is a Paramyxovirus then there is no cure and you have to take care of him until his organism will fight off the virus. Be sure to give him lot's of sunlower seeds. We give that to our rescued ones so that their sickness goes by much lighter that it otherwise would.
Otherwise it may be Salmonella, I think?
You will have to ask others or find videos about this. I only know of Cinnamon method, but I do not reccomend that. I will not tell what you have to do or how because it is very dangeroud to the bird.
Just look around and maybe you will find anwsers.

What can I give my pigeon with twisted neck and can’t really walk. She was attacked by dogs but was fine was able to walk had a few feather taken out but I placed her in a quite place and she was eating fine by evening she had twisted neck and couldn’t walk. She drinks with dropper and looks very alert so I’m so confused on what to do.
