And she also added scoops melismas! and little riffs ! runs ! into the song throughout the song!! Conclusion: Angelina's Life performances surpasses Angelina's rehearsal recording!! Angelina hits vocals 😲Angelina!! What are Scoops! Melismas Riffs ! Runs ! "Scoops" are fast sliding notes that create a stylistic effect! On "Melismas" 😲 AJ sings a single 🎶 syllable of the lyrics! while moving multiple notes 🎼 at the same time ! Both techniques give the song more expressiveness and flair !! Riffs are 2-3 quickly sung 😲 notes ! and Runs are notes that you sing out for longer 😲!❤❤❤😇👣👰♀️👸🎙🎺🎷🎻🎸🎹♥️❤️🔥🔥💥💎🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭👋🙋♂️
Think I prefer this to the actual performance. Angelina's voice seemed to be more at the forefront. As an aside, wish we could hear more of her speaking voice. That mix of timbre and slight accent is quite irresistible.
Gosh that was good. I like the little differences, and I'm glad they told her the ending was perfect 😃😊🥰. Lets keep in mind the audio difference, they did such an insanely perfect job with the audio live, through the amps and such. This is through a Cellphone, so this rehearsal was probably right there with the live. A bit different. Especially love the live show differences where she added the mmm mmm's before long lonely time. Hard to tell for sure given the audio difference. But it sounds like she went harder here on the first belt, and softer on the second. Anyway, what an absolute machine this girl is. All the control, consistency, versatility and ability a vocalist could hope for. Can't imagine how incredible she did with her 16 years singing, to get to that point. 😍🤩
Okay , the important stuff : #1 the sunglasses perched on her head . . . . . . . . . . . Ray-bans or ? ? ? #2 the tennis shoes . . . . Addidas or ? ? . . . . . . obviously not Converse All Star . . . . . . And the contact lenses . . . . . . ? ?
I think recording the camera in a bts shot was brilliant. It gave us a close up of AJ's expression while giving context that this was just a rehearsal.❤

After listening to the complete rehearsal for AJ's rendition of Unchained Melody, and then the finished product, you have an idea of what a good sound engineer can do for the artist. The final product of this recording is a testament to the skill of the sound engineer, who balanced the vocals and the orchestra perfectly. In the rehearsal, there were moments when the orchestra overpowered Angelina Jordan's voice, but that issue was resolved, and the result is a masterpiece, a true work of ART. © Larry D. Pifer
