Love your commentary and honesty on the products. I really appreciate this as it’s very hard to see Visvim products in shops so your videos do a great job providing details that I would not see online shops.
Thank you, I really appreciate the positive feedback. That’s definitely the goal with this channel, I want to provide my honest opinion on pieces that people would want to learn more about.
it is really hard to justify visvim purchases, people that don't understand will just look at you crazy... you look at yourself crazy for even pulling the trigger on it. But visvim is my guilty pleasure... i don't buy a lot of clothes, maybe 2-3 pieces a year, and so it serve as a small reward for saving all year long and a treat; sometime you can go 1-2 years without picking up a piece since a lot of models are really hard to find let alone in your size on the 2nd market. Great videos! can't wait to see more!
Couldn’t agree more! It does feel ridiculous sometimes paying full msrp. Unfortunately, my size is hard to come by so a lot of what I pick up is from visvim directly. To your point, I basically wear the same 5-10 shirts all year round and overall I consume less than I used to.
@@vsvm_pioneer I understand that for sure, i been wearing visvim 01.3MUD last 3 weeks… unless I have to wear something more fitting, I’m on that straight leg, it’s so comfortable. Quality over quantity 👍🏼
Doing a wear test on the Cossack for this month. Going to get a full opinion on these and I have another booth coming from the SS25 trunk show that I want to include. Probably going to get that collection video out in February 2025 or November 2024 if I decide to leave that boot out of it.
@@vsvm_pioneer i wear more colors so brown was better for me. The damage processing on that horsehide is amazing. My pair has a lot of it which i like they are so unique even each shoe has variation
It hurts watching this video as a US13. All TWO boots, and even Landers boots (which apparently are wider), I've tried don't work for me. Can't get my heel down into the boot. But have been successful with US12 Poundmakers, FBTs, Skags, and Logans which all fit closer to a 12.5 IMO. Keep up the great work on your videos!
Damn, that does suck! Have you tried engineers from other brands? Yeah, I typically wear an 11 in everything else from visvim. The width is too narrow for me on landers and two boots. I appreciate the positive feedback!
I was goading myself into calling you a hipster bonehead. But its so cool that you are wearing the boots hard. I would go with the black tygum 700 sole with the Quabaugh heels on the next resole, that should give me the ability to re-heel the boot before going with a full outsole. The 700 wears like iron just be sure not to get the one with the cork in it, those wear faster. A little heel slip is gonna happen in that style of boot, as long as you dont get blisters all good. Yeah your nuts for spending 2500$ on boots, but I've had new computers die faster than boots :)
Thank you man, that’s what they’re for! I appreciate the advice on the sole. I’ve done typical vibram sole swaps on other boots, but never dealt with something for an engineer boot or an item with a heel. I’ll definitely look into it! Yeah, no blisters. I figure without laces, you’re never going to get a perfect fit. Trust me, I can’t justify the price either. I can admit that there’s better value and quality out there. I appreciate you tuning in!

Love the vibes in these videos! You're killing it big chief! 🙌
Thanks Alex!
Can’t wait for your video ranking all the boots, I’m really interested in your thoughts as you have a number of boots that I’d like to pick up.

I’ll have it out within a few weeks. Thank you for tuning in!
I got a size 12 in the poundmaker and they are great!
Such a great boot! Which release/color did you get?
@@vsvm_pioneer 23 release brown i suppose you could say light vs the dark brown
Those are great! I have the black pair from the previous year that I wear all the time.

Brown definitely goes with a lot more. I only have one pair of black boots, the rest are brown for that reason.
awesome video! Love the in depth review
Thank you, I appreciate it.

@@vsvm_pioneer I'm interested in the Engineer Boots from RRL...but they're definitely missing the visvim "touch".
Good stuff brother man!
Appreciate it man, thank you!
can you ID the tee you're wearing?
Sure thing. It’s the jumbo tee S/S crash in black from visvim, item #: 0123105010016.
Who is the other person I the video, he is hilarious 😂.
Coworker lol
@@vsvm_pioneer it’s like watching lLarry David

Fair enough.
