I love the Appalachian Trial. There are so many spots to travel on it or even do the whole thing. that would be rad. This video is cool. Again loaded info. This is 4 months of planning packed into a video. Think about how valuable that is. Did you bring Diamox? is that part of the meds?

Half of that is the handywork of the A.T. 😁 I'm really happy that you like this video, and I see from your recent message that you caught the No. 1 thing that I wish I had. I've definitely - accidentally - done that before where I'm been such a pain and spent so much time and energy, and then ended up not even taking the way-too-hard-to-get item with me The goat has no place here; he's just so adorable! And, when I was looking for a suitable emoji, this one was the one that made me laugh, so in he goes! Yeah, I was very back and forth about the medicine for that same reason. I was torn between, "what if I don't even need it," and "what if I don't need it," and "what if I take (consume) the medicine and then never know how I would have done without it." Around and around I went on that, but gosh. It was unfortunate that so many people never need it and have no effects, and I felt deathly ill. But, I'm still thinking of a way to use that to my advantage 😀

The one in the windowsill is solar, and I put put it in the sun to charge (Solar Power Bank: amzn.to/3YZLT0A) and I took mini/ultralight power banks with me as well (Ultralight Power Banks: amzn.to/3YUMvVu). Oh yes, and from the moment you arrive in Lukla, it's all Nepalese rupees. There isn't an easy way for the locals along the trail to convert currency, and my experience was that no one accepted anything other than rupees 😊 Thank you for this question!

Hi, Bishal! It's so nice to hear from you. I hope that you are doing well. When I did my trek in the middle of May, it was completely legal, but I had to purchase a government pass to do so. I'll be sharing a video on how I did that very soon, and I hope you are safe and healthy until then 😊
Hopefully, the government will continue to allow solo trekkers to purchase a permit to trek solo, as it's such an incredible experience to do it all by yourself ⭐
What I understand from the Nepal trekking groups,is that the mandatory guide rule is not applicable in the sagarmatha region.? Is guide / porter mandatory for trekking in Nepal? Can I trek without guide / porter in Nepal?
Hi, Agilesh! It's great to hear from you and a huge welcome! Yes, you can at the moment trek without a guide and porter -- but, the laws around that have changed several times in the past few months. There's something called an "Trek Card" that independent/solo trekkers purchase on the trail for 5,000 Nepalese rupees that allows you to trek solo. I hope this helps. This is all I can share right now as I'll have a video coming out about this soon :)
