Toda raba Rav Sjimon. Your explanation are always crystal clear. It is so interesting to know the definition of consonant and vowel that it is so understandable by alef א is a consonant. Looking foward for the next class. InshaaAllah. 😊🙏🏻
Rav Sjimon. Thank you for this series. They are so interesting and the topic is so well explained. Here is my question: You explained that the modern Hebrew alphabet was adopted after the Babylonian exile. Was it also the alphabet of the Neo-Babylonian empire and was it used by the Assyrian as the imperial alphabet ? Aramaic was used as lingua franca for commerce and governance and being Semitic was intelligible for these Semitic peoples too. It means that early Torah and many of the Hebrew Bible scrolls were originally written in the first alphabet? Thank you and again, Congratulations for this great course. I am eager to see the following videos.
