I have just got the 2024 Fuse bunding with the hybrid straps. Playing around with them I think the best advice is to leave the toe strap looser than you would like too. This allows the heel of your boot to get in far enough to allow the high back to pull up. If you have the toe strap tight then it's hard to get your boot in far enough. If you tighten the toe starp like a traditional binding you will have issues getting your boot in. Step in is great, should have got these before now!

I have both and find the hybrid better. But not by much. With the hybrid you just set the toe cap then tighten down the ankle once in. I also find the hybrid more responsive. One issue with the hybrid is the toe strap likes to move down and you have to pull it up on the boot once in. A work around for that is to add a washer on the one single strap side so you can lock it down. Stock you can’t tighten it down enough. Totally fixes the issue. I wouldn’t bother with the TM. Spend a little more and get the extra adjustments

Could you please tell me where to add the washer exactly? I’m struggling to step in again once I stepped out.

I’m so confused by this bc I have a pair of really old flow bindings (over 10yrs??). Love them. But they’re just two separate straps like this “new” hybrid model. Trying to decide on some new bindings .. couldn’t figure out what’s so special about the Omni hybrid. Hah. Well thanks!

Hate the hybrid straps. Too finicky to get into. After one day fighting with them, I ordered the fusion strap kit from Flow's website, and when I got home, the box was at my door.

Bought a pair of flow fuse carbon to replace burton cartel (latest gen as its softer then previous gen) and not looking back. I can see flow nx2-cx or flow fuse carbon not being used for freestyle oriented people as they are pretty stiff and have very little lateral play. But all in all im more of a hard charger so they fit my style.

I'd love to know if the hybrids are just as easy entry as the fuse? Been riding conventional flow for years and just assumed the hybrids would offer more control with the same easy rear entry

The hybrid strap option isn't new, I have been riding them for years.

How the ratchets held after days of abusing them every single ride? I only tried old NX2 with fusion strap and the ratchets did not look like they are intended to be used in conventional way. And I can tell that both versions (fusion and hybrid) use the same ratchets

I have been riding them for 15 years in all conditions and never had an issue with a ratchet.

I'm used to the fusion straps and got new bindings for Christmas that had the hybrid strap. They're the worst - defeat the whole purpose of easy-on rear entry! It took forever for Flow to restock the conversion kit to change my bindings back to hybrid straps...so long that I bought the competition. See ya, Flow
