Amazing light! Although distance may be important for offensive use, I think a bigger spill is more important for defensive use such as home protection.
I was going to get this , but the same reason u said. I feel like I would be searching for the target with such a small spill

In a perfect world olight makes the pl pro light output in the body of the turbo, I love how the turbo looks

On the military side I can tell you that I will need more then 60s. A constant brightness is a need. Once we identify the targets is not a threat or the structure is clear, I switch handheld flashlight.
Why does everyone hate olight? I feel like its better than crimson trace and some of knock off amazon lights.
I'm curious to see in the future how they can make led and lep switchable on the fly like a hi, low & strobe. LED, rotate, LEP and both 🔥
I got my Turbo back in February, it's impressive for what it is. With that said I don't see a practical use for it for me personally. When I'm carrying I want to see not just the perp (God forbid I have to draw) but the surrounding area and other possible threats/civilians as well. I'm a bug fan of the PL-PRO, but the Turbo isn't for me.
Great video! I did the same thing down my driveway with the same set of lights back in February when I got the Turbo. I like it for longer shots, but like the Pro for purely stunning the attacker's vision and room clearing. I hadn't seen their battery update till I saw your vid, so I will snag freebies till I can't. 😀

I recently got the pl turbo for my Glock 23 gen 5 but been having trouble finding a holster for it wether it be iwb or even owb can’t find any

What olight has more of a comparison to the pl turbo I’ve been tryna find a holster for my pl turbo can’t find any
I’d like to see them reduce the momentary on activation to a better sensitivity. All of the lights I have from them turn on with how I press for momentary. They have all come off of my guns for that moment. I do t like accidentally turning on a light that is meant for a momentary flash. Great video though.

I was really liking the new turbo but seeing it against the pro I'm not sure which I want to get I like how much more powerful the turbo is but it's all beam with zero flood idk I just gotta do more research 👍🏼

My non rechargeable batteries have lasted forever. I don't go outside at night for fun like a kid and use it alot. I like it
u know olight will make one eventually. Wish a light combined led and lep. U get flood and an amazing hotspot

Use the pl pro on my Ruger pc9.....lets you reach out and touch someone.....for handguns i use the others with more flood....nice to have options.

With the Olight PL Pro when it steps down in brightness after 60 seconds will it go back up again once it cools down or is that 60 seconds of 1500 lumens for the entire charge?
once it cools down full brightness is available again, depending on battery level.
Surefire and Streamlight both step down too
rechargeable is ok for a being close to the house light, needing a outlet .. But in the elements you may have difficulty trying to recharge off a tree Lol!!! ... for anything else I go with batteries doesn't take any extra room to pack a few extras ... this light is impressive but going to Waite for some you tubers.... to put it threw .. torture test
Or they could have just used an 18350, and then you get both options.

If I buy the pro or the turbo do I need to get new holsters ? I currently have the pl2 Valkyrie.
If it’s the Pro yo don’t have to, the form factor is the same. On the other hand, the Turbo it’s long and if the holster its open at the bottom, you won’t have any problem.
Please take into consideration price outside of US. The streamlight is 233 dolars (the lowest what I found in my conuntry). The olight pl-3 is 83 dolars in discount and 103 in normal price.
