Mark, so glad you could get back to Indiana to spend Christmas with your family. The letter you wrote about your parents was very touching. You are a good son!
❤ That is beautiful Mark pure joy ❤ 11 year's this November I have been following you ❤ I I was 20 then I shall be 31 this year. ❤ Where has the time gone ❤ But I will tell you one thing ❤Time flies when your having fun ❤
As someone who has recently made the same discovery about family, it’s so touching and heart-warming to see how you express your love for them. I know I have always been loved and had love for my family but in recent years have developed the sense of emotional and physical feeling of this love and learning to express it has been the best ride. Your ending of the video is really powerful in portraying that acknowledgment of the feeling of loving and being loved with acceptance. Family will cherish our words and actions more than any of us can ever know. Thanks for making me tear up at work! Lol
Hi Mark - thank you for posting this video. The tribute to your folks is first class. Here's the thing: anyone following you since you started this channel will already know your parent's personality's. You have captured your family on video so well over the years. I want to thank them so much for sharing their lives through your channel. So glad you could connect with everyone over the festive season. Cheers.
Oh Mark--your little tribute to your parents was overwhelmingly beautiful--All the feels!!So glad you have had such a wonderful family to share your life with over the years. Cherish the time you spend with them and all your family, every moment spent with a loved one is a treasure ❤❤❤
Mark, your videos often touch me. Your anxieties, your special moments, are things I can relate to. I'm so glad you make these videos. They are, without a doubt, very therapeutic for me and for all your faithful followers. Thank you! 😊
Absolutely beautiful mark! It’s so nice because many of us through this videography, this art, this story telling,( over the years) have truly given us a peek into just how beautiful life can be through someone else’s lens (your lens). Thank you for sharing your life with us, because I personally have grown with you through this channel. Nearing my 30s now, but only a teen when I started watching this channel. I can’t express my appreciation enough!
What a wonderful post, Mark. Love seeing you spend time with your precious, loving, dedicated parents and family. Your closing tribute to your parents was very moving. Happy New Year
It’s amazing how you can move away from vlogging and begin to tell a story that means so much to you. The ending made me feel something, the narration and just the different shots that helped tell that story was everything. I really look forward to the bigger projects that you create and how much more you have to offer and progress as a person and in your craft. Happy New Year!
Beautiful family Mark! I think the older we get the more we discover that time is the most valuable asset that we own. Spending time with family, friends, and people that we love is the greatest gift we can give and receive from others. Happy new year! May you have many more memories like this to come in 2024!
Mark, you really touched my heart with this one. I have always been incredibly close with my parents. They are genuinely people of good character. Everyone who knows them loves them, and they are my two best friends. Their love for each other, and for me, has never ceased to amaze me. Sadly, I lost my father this past September. My mother and I cared for him, hand and foot, for the final year of his life. It was our honor to care for him, but it broke our hearts to say goodbye. We are now trying to put our lives back together, and this was our first Christmas without him. The words you shared about your parents deeply resonated with me as I watched the scenes you shared with them. I am so thankful that you have such a beautiful relationship with your parents, and I am even more thankful that you recognize its value. I pray that the three of you will be blessed to have each other for many more years - years filled with love, joy, and laughter.
That was so lovely what you said about your parents. They really are some standout parents how they’ve raised you and your sisters. I’ve admired them for years as I’ve followed you. You literally couldn’t have been born to better parents and you’re truly so so blessed to have them.
I love this and i love that you're expressing it in such a positive way! Both of my parents just lost their mothers last year and it put my own life into perspective. Im coming up on 30 and even though its still young my parents arent getting any younger. I too feel I cherish all of the time i have with them. You are blessed my friend
Thank you Marc for yet again sharing such a special part of your life with us. Im a 38 yo gay man and am also super lucky to have a great relationship with both my mom and dad. Videos like this remind me to not take it for granted. Seems like you you guys had an awesome holiday season. Really hold tight to this videos message and TREASURE these moments. They don't last forever. ♥ You get better at your craft year after year and I absolutely love how far you've come as a film maker. Cheers ❤😊
Thank you for this video. Your father reminds me a lot of mine, and I haven’t been able to see him in six years. He is no longer with us on this earth; cherish every moment with them, and love the moment you have close to your family. Thank you for such lovely, cozy feelings ❤❤❤
Beautiful and wonderful. I'm glad you went home for the Holidays. I always like seeing your family. You are fortunate and Blessed.46yrs ago I lost my mother, I was 17,a Senior in High School. It was Heartbreaking and I have been treated for depression off and on ever since. My alcoholic abusive father died when I was 40 yrs. old. No tears, we spent our childhood's crying. I'm 63,health problems, taking meds, and doing the best I can.
This is the first video I've watched of yours. It's quite lovely. You have a wonderful relationship with your family, it made me smile. My family was not loving and welcoming and it does my heart good to see families that are. Thank you for sharing some of your family time with us and for the beautiful tribute you gave to your parents.
Such a heartwarming video Mark❤️ I love seeing ur bond with your parents since u first started making videos.. inspiring me to be closer to my parents this year
Those words about your parents brought tears to my eyes. They made me think about my parents and how amazing and precious they are to me also. Loved this vid ❤
You had a great time with your family!! Yes, the travel across the country is crazy sometimes. May be a one flight or two stop flights but you do finally get to yourdestination. The sharing of the gifts were priceless! Your reflections and thoughts of your parents are beautiful. Yes, always keep your paresnts in your heart!!❤😅 Thank you again for sharing your cool life with your family.😊
Amazing parents tribute Mark. Loved it. Keep up the wicked job. Love your content. Glad you got your dad to open the gag gift (or non-gag depending on how you look at it)(pardon the pun) so quickly! lol ❤❤
What a beautiful tribute to your family, especially your mom and dad. Treasure your parents because one day they will be gone and you can't imagine how much you will miss their love and support. Mine are gone now and I miss them everyday. ❤❤
Your statement to your parents is beautiful you lucky man ,plus have to say that watching your channel is so calming enjoyable,to me it's special perhaps as a gay man myself I understand the things you go through, thanks and happy new year.
Ok you nearly had me crying. You are a lucky dude. For 2024 I am working to start each day with gratitude for my blessings. This video was full of good feels. Thanks.
Mark mark mark without a doubt this is the best video I’ve ever seen on UA-cam so well done with so much love and joy and happiness. Thank you for taking us on your journey with your outrageous and awesome family. Thank you thank you thank you. Aloha Mark from Hawaii Jan Michaels……😘👍
Cherish the moments and memories with ur parents never know how long u will have with them. I lost both of mine when I was young, but Cherish different memories I had with them
Over here crying with laughter and love at this video! Also . . . Please explain the connection of the title 😂. I was fully expecting that to be a comment after your dad opened the “gift”
That was really a nice video, especially the ending part. Methinks your dad is coloring his hair. Also, maybe you could talk about how it is to travel by air with a dog for those of us who don't travel with pets.
Mark - You have such a sentimental and caring heart! You always have, as long as I've been following you. (Pretty much since the beginning) If your parents are half as proud of their gay son as I am of you, you can go anywhere or do anything in life pal. Cheers!
Wow, that mom part got me in the feels. My mom died Ten years ago at Christmas. I feel her warmth and energy for life carry on in me as her gay son. The last in a line from 1365 in England…
Oh gosh, the ending got me right in the feelers. Enjoy being with your parents as much as you can. My parents are both gone. I guess that is why it hit me like it did. Cheers Mark.❤
Just watched this video. When you were reading what you wrote about your mom I was in tears. Your video reminded me of me and my mom. I lost my mom last February at 89 years old. She lived with me for the last 8 years and we were friends. Now at 64 years old, I am trying to figure out what’s next. Thank you for bringing a huge smile to my face showing your relationship with your mom. From one gay son to another, thank you 🙏🏻
*Aw . . . so sweet! I'm sure your family feels the same way about you. Agreed, there's nothing like a great family - (if you're lucky enough to have one)*
You're a really cool guy and it's so great the relationship y'all have. Im sure they don't think of you as just a gay son. Idk where you were going with that. I been subscribed to you for a really long time. I've been on UA-cam since 2006. I remember the videos you used to make with a boyfriend. I feel like im a horrible person struggling daily in NJ. ✌️
It's good to see Mark back in Indiana, though briefly. What he needs to do when in Indiana is get a one-way van rental, load up the printer, and drive back with it. I know that it will take 3 days, but you'll have a wonderful trip, and the savings on the return air-fare will partly pay for the van rental - and making video clips of the trip will help pay for the over-night stays at where-ever you stay along the way. Though I never seemed to bump into you when you were in Indy, I somehow miss you. You and I are somehow like salt and pepper. We could work together, but we have two different personalities and expectations in life. I particularly like the family video because it makes me reflect on mine. Your family is up in Ft. Wayne, mine is up in Marion. It's important to keep strong bonds with the family, particularly when you live some distance away, because it somehow "grounds" you more than making videos or taking walks on the beach can. As always, I wish you the best, and look forward to following your journey through life.
"There's no more love to earn." What a powerful tribute. Found myself smiling through the whole video.
Yep, loved that phrase.
What does it mean?
@@psamkeast That his father has loved him in every way he can…loves him and is proud of him.
@@bowed305 Why’d he feel he had to “earn” love?
Literally cried. Such a powerful statement
Mark, that tribute to your parents was beautiful. I can imagine more than one tear was shed. Well done.
“Before I cry” - meanwhile I’m over here wiping off tears 🥹. Such a great tribute, Mark!
❤
Me too 🥹
The world would be a better place if everyone had a family as accepting and caring as yours. Thank you for sharing your family with all of us.
Damn. The bit about your parents, I felt chills. Great work. ❤️
I feel like you just encapsulated my own parents with the words you spoke about your own. That was so sweet and yes, I teared up
Mark, so glad you could get back to Indiana to spend Christmas with your family. The letter you wrote about your parents was very touching. You are a good son!

Great tribute to Mom and Dad. You are a lucky man to have two loving parents and they are equally lucky to have a great son.
Dad graciously donate his white elephant gift to Mark, who immediately installed his vlog mic in it, as seen at 8:16. Good work, very creative!
