An extremely fair price for a v8 needing minor work. Tbh you summed it all up, and it's probably why I'd never own one. It's a great shame we never saw the kv8 or the tvr spec rover v8 into them.
Can you imagine a rover 75 with a modern tweeked rover v8 in it.
Modern fueling system, modern gear boxes to match, thry couldn't have kept them on the fore court.

I really wanted a 260 as I saw it as the ultimate MGR car ( SV aside) but once I got one the novelty soon wore off what with the mediocre performance and shocking fuel consumption.
These sould all have had a supercharger fitted from the factory and probably the 4v engine as well.
I'm sure it will sell quickly at that price Rob.

Thanks Dave. Yes, if MGR had taken a step back and thought about things, rather than just bunging a load of random parts in a good chassis, they may have gone somewhere.
Saying that, I do need to drive a supercharged variant at some point!

I recently bought my ZT 260 a couple of weeks ago. Chassis number 469. I absolutely love her and she's my dream car too. She has a superb history and I've already done some light work on her, including rear light gaskets, front brake pads, new front grill badge, new mats, and a fake rear air vent installation, in place of the cubby blanking plate. She drives brilliantly...for now 😂
I hope I can enjoy her for the next year or so, but chances are I'll probably fall out of love with it too and sell it on, just like yourself.

Good for you pricing this motor reasonably. There's alot out there who would quite happily rinse someone. Someone will get a tremendous car.
I let my ZS go and I regret it every day so I feel you with regard to your ZR, but you have made pennywise special.

A fair price for the car. One point from your video, the wing on the mk1 does not need the V8 badge. It was just on the rear. ;)
