Oh yes! It finally happened. I woke up to respond to comments today and received two not so lovely ones. Talking it out helps. Thanks for listening.

How sad that people feel the need to be so mean. It is usually because something is missing in their life. The best thing to do is not respond and just delete or block. They may self reflect if you don't give them what they want, which is - attention. I think red hair is stunning and quite unique! I love your Pippi Longstocking doll! What makes a total stranger think they should tell someone what they should do with their hair? I love red hair as I come from a family of red heads. My sister is a red head. You can tell a true red head by their freckles so I knew you were. Also, I like how your videos are about you. You have a great personality and a kind spirit.
You know what funny about my freckles? My mom doesn’t have red hair but must have had freckles as a child and when I was a child I wanted them to go away and she told me when I grew up they would go away like hers did. Welp we know that didn’t happen. Amazing to know you have a sister with red hair too, your hair is nearly the opposite at a rich dark brown nearly black. I love your hair. I always wanted dark brown hair growing up like Sabrina on Charlie’s angels.

I write the days in my title since I will forget lol Oh my gosh, I am so glad you did a video about this. My daughter with red hair also mostly gets compliments, but when she was in elementary school she was teased a few times and about her sweet freckles. Your red is gorgeous.
It took me a long while to embrace this hair. People can be kind of rude about it. I don’t like the term ginger, maybe because of the “kick a ginger” thing so when Rich will say look, a ginger like you because it’s become a term for red hair, I will say…those are my people the strong Vikings. Actual Vikings were kind of brutal but I like to think of being strong. We are rare that’s for sure and I think your Grace is stunning! Like triple stunning.

I love your red hair, I used to dye mine red cause I would have loved to have red hair! Even if it wasn't your natural color... doesn't matter. Your hair, your decision. Because even if you had your hair grey... someone may comment that you should dye them because it makes you look old. 😒

I’m sorry those trolls came out from under their respective bridges. Anyone who’s posted creative content online knows their ugly faces. Offer that jello feeling for the salvation of their souls and you will immediately feel much better.
I’ve learned to have fun with them. I actually got trolled this week too! At first I just said, “That is so ridiculous,” but then I tried to be kinder and explain my position. He was still rude so I told him if he continued to be rude I would block him. Then I decided I’d just block him. lol
Here’s a great line, appropriate for anyone trying to establish an abusive relationship. You simply say, “How long have you had this problem of being ultra negative?” That way it doesn’t legitimize their topic but rather puts it back on them. Then walk away.

So crazy how I started to explain to that "man" about how I wish I could have my gray hair but my hair is just not turning yet. Then just DELETED it cause you are right, not worth it. I also went back and re-read the comment and I had it all wrong. It read "you should go gray because your hair doesn't match your face" Then I thought, well this is still a not very nice thing to say, that means he thinks my face is old and my hair doesn't match yet. Geesh. One of my old friends called me and explained that he was simply making an observation but for a highly sensitive person it felt more than an observation.
@@Lifeinthewyldewest No matter how you read it, it is still one human presuming that their opinion about another human's physical appearance is relevant and important enough to say out loud in a public forum and that the person on the receiving end should care what they say. It's just really sad. I tried to respond nicely but not just letting it pass.
For me it's like a tingly numbness, it's an uncomfortable feeling. I actually love your hair! You are rare, Tracie! And you are amazing! and yes, the bullies and trolls can just scroll on by. I showed you my mean comment and then I couldn't find it again after I screenshotted it. I was told to get over myself among other ignorant things and it is just that, ignorance. Umm, not weird at all you have a Pippi Longstocking. I literally texted my wife last night a link to a stuffed Eastern Cottontail rabbit I want. ROFL. Seriously! We have a LOT of Eastern Cottontail rabbits in our neighborhood and I call them "My Little Bunny Buddies" and look for two specific ones each morning. I thought how cool would it be to have a stuffed realistic looking bunny of them! So yeah . . . you're good. Love it! :)

It’s so sad that people are so unhappy they have to spend their time being mean. All we can do is feel pity for them and carry on being who we are. So nice to meet you Betty! I'm Tracie and I subscribed to your channel and I see it's all about travel! Since I don't get out much I think it will be quite nice to watch and see where you take me. I'll tune in when I can. It's the weekend so I'll be away a lot from my phone/computer/iPad. Pippi is just a riot and if I could just channel her courage, strength and attitude of "I can do anything" then that will be a great space to be.
There are so many things I want to say to you after watching this!
First of all thank you for mentioning my channel. I really appreciate that. And I'm glad you enjoyed the journalling prompts.
Next, I can so relate to the way you felt when reading those comments this morning. My channel is a bit smaller than yours so I didn't get any mean ones yet, but I suppose that's coming up soon too. But for anything like this I try to remember that negative vibes are usually about the person that sends them off, not about you or me. If you feel good and happy in yourself you just wouldn't do anything like that. Quite the opposite.
So the best thing is probably to just delete any comments like that, block the people and move on. But as I said, I haven't been there yet, so it might be easier said than done.
Also: I LOVE your freckles!! I always wanted to have freckles when I was younger (like Pipi Longstocking) but I could only draw them on my face when we dressed up for carnival. Haha. And now I actually have a son with a face full of freckles. So I got my freckles in the end, just in a different way. :)

I ended up deleted and blocking them. In the end it did seem like the best way to handle it. I can be a little feisty sometimes and after I responded I thought better of it, did the old delete and block. I agree with you fully, sadly it's about them. Not me.
We have a rule: if someone can’t change something in 15 seconds we don’t say anything. Like you can tell someone they have spinach in their teeth, but you can’t tell them they have weird eyebrows. Because it’s just not your business to tell someone that.
Mean people are just hurting, but I’m not their therapist and therefore not here to fix them! Keep being you and delete those comments!

That one is LUNA "LoveGood". It's R.J.s kitty, more like a support kitty than anything. When R.J. is sad little Luna lays on her chest and makes her feel more calm. I added the Lovegood, because I love Harry Potter. R.J. just called her Luna.
